It is the horrid period of mid-sessions again.. paper after paper.. lol.. quite sick and tired of it.. but what to do???

Everybody's gone back to sg already.. so fast... Still can't really believe that I have graduated.. (><) I'm a graduate!!! How many times am I gonna say that... hahahaha...

Anywayz, think I've been in aust for too long.. LOL.. There was this week when two ppl I've just got to know told me that I don't look singaporean but aussie.. I was like.. WHAT?!?! The following week when ah-boy shu shu's family came, Milton said," Shan, you don't look singaporean eh. You look AUSSIE." O_O That coming from my own cousin?!?! OMG!!! How do I look aussie? I can never understand.... Come to think of it... A lot of ppl tell me a lot of different things... So far, I've had ppl tell me I look Eurasian.. Chinese Malay.. Jap.. slightly Korean... and now.. AUSSIE??

Graduation!!

YAY!! I have finally graduated!! hahahaha.. At the same time, it marks the start of mid-sessions!! T_T

Anyway, yesterday was a real special day for me. Am so glad that dad and bro managed to come by. (><) Was unable to sleep the night before... Too excited? I guess so.. LOL..

Woke up at 630am when the bell rang. Dad and bro were early.. haha... Reached school slightly before 9 and started taking pics.. heheh.. thank goodness we were early.. ppl had to queue to take pics at certain areas..

Phie managed to come by for a short while as well.. heheh.. she came to have a look before class..

Ceremony was cool.. haha.. First graduation ceremony.. Never attended the one at SP. Wei said the graduation gown's like the ones from Harry Potter.. Was one of the first few to go on stage.. SO NERVOUS.. (><) I didn't doff my hat technically speaking.. LOL.. cos we were supposed to shake the chancellor's hand on the right, take the cert on the left, then doff the hat.. I did reach up to doff.. but my hand was in the wrong position.. So I looked a little like I was saying sorry.. T_T Oh well.. just pretended that I did and walked off.. Think wei caught it on video cam..

Would like to thank the few people who came!! Thank you Ivanna, Johnny, Van, Kevin, Edmond, Kun and RA!! LOL.. first thing when dad saw RA, dad told wei: "eh.. Look at Mr BEAN.." LOL!!!! Wahahahaha... Imagine my dad saying that! I couldn't stop laughing lahz! Hahahaha... Anyway, think that's enough talk. here are the pics for the day:

He asked me once if I was wearing it wrongly.. And I said think not.. We were walking raound then he tapped me and brought me to the photo studio where portriats were taken, and he pointed to the sample pic.. >_> So embarassing!

Was so tired by the end of the day, I KOed at 1030pm.. Hahaha.. One of the rare days that I slept so early..

Ooo.. that reminds me, there was a full lunar eclipse last night! Am glad that I managed to see it... haha.. Another rare thing. Well, that's all for now.. Will see if there's anymore interesting stuff happening then will post it up. (><)

hai.. think i cannot make it le... study till so blur.. hahahaha.. just had a paper on monday.. am quite glad that i started studying early.. LOL.. quite a lot to cover.. and as usual, will try to cram a bit more extra stuff right before the paper...

Can't believe that I can still be so blur.. like... I've been studying finance for so long already!!! How can I forget to bring a calculator for a finance paper?!?!?! The worst part is, I didn't even realise until i was seated for the paper, and reading the instructions on the front cover. The statement said: non-programmed calculators are allowed. And I was like, "hmmm.. non-programmed calculators, means can bring calculator lahz? eh.. calculator? CALCULATOR!!!!" -_-''' how slow can i get... T_T thank goodness Keng Lee was sitting next to me.. and he got extra calculator!!! whoahahaha... really saved me.. thought going to die le. (><) really heng arh...

Went to get my visa label today.. heheh.. finally got my visa settled.. can stay till sept next year. LOL.. Quite surprised that today's service quite fast. Literally!!! As most of u know.. service here is slow.. compared to Singapore. (><) Today was much faster than the last time I was there.. haha.. then again, I was really blur, and did something very embarassing!! Ben and I was walking to the car, then I stopped and waited for him to unlock it to get in.. Then he said, "eh.. what u doing?" and I was saying, "waiting for u to unlock the car?" and he said, "Who's car is that?" O_O yes people.. I was standing next to the wrong car!! and our car was still quite a distance away!!! (><) that was so pai seh lohz! Heng the owner of the car was not there..

Mum's coming tmr already. So exciting.. haha.. graduating soon!! Need to sleep early tonight.. Sleep sleep sleep!!!

Yes people.. am updating.. haha thanks to ying's "request"... lol...

anyway, like i've said, nothing much's been going on.. Only studying.. that's why life's quite boring.. haha.. Graduation's coming up in 2 weeks. (><) Can't believe am graduating... haha.. feel quite old now.. I got a DEGREE!!! Can u believe that?!? Must remember to go rent the graduation gown.. think it's $68... Spending more money at this uni.. haha... Really hope that my dad and bro's coming.. Mum's coming for sure.. If dad and bro not coming.. then will be quite sad sia.. only one person attending my graduation.. Ben got mid-session on that day.. so "suey"... phie got class also.. oh well...

Talking about studying... I sure have a really crazy lecturer... am currently taking a course on derivatives.. course component's 15% quiz, 30% mid-session, 15% assignment and 40% final.. Last week, outta nowhere he decided to change the course components!! Like.. hello.. 3rd week of school already!!! and u gotta realize that students enrolled can't back out by this week. We were like sitting ducks waiting to get killed! Know what he wanted to change it to?? 25% mid-session, 25% final and 50% ASSIGNMENTS!!! Siao right?!?! plus the assignments will be given out every week!! =_=''' thank goodness the school didn't allow him to impliment the change.. haha... everybody got so confused.. cos he told the afternoon class that there is no more quiz.. but told the evening class that there is.. LOL.. and the quiz is ON next week.. hah.. got no motivation to do the assignments... now dunno what is the plan.. dunno if the assignments given out each week are compulsory or not.. Rumour has it that they may be optional.. hai... Dun wanna think too much about this.. should just study for the papers just in case..

Am running outta time.. have 2 mid-session papers back to back on week 7 and another 2 back to back on week 8.. can't graduate in peace..

Am currently thinking about sept hols.. hahahahaha.. ya i know.. all i can think of are holidays.. just finished one and am already planning the next. LOL... am thinking if I should go back to sg... but will be one week only.. so short.. but there's a reason to go back too.. cos Jun's getting married!! haha.. Otherwise will go on short hol in another state. =p

As some of you already know, rats have infested my room back in Singapore!!!! Shitting around and bitting holes into my stuff!!! All these happening when I'm not around. Dunno to be happy or sad.. happy coz i don't have to sleep with them in the room. Sad cos there are holes in my drawer!!! Like... what the.... ARGH!!!!!

Major renovations are going on at my place.. Can't believe that my dad did not tell me... Everytime I ask how's things back in singapore, he'll reply: "like that lohz. nothing new." Only found out about my room through phie and my bro. Poor bro.. he has to pack up my stuff for me.. LOL.. Thanks arh.. hahahaha... I can imagine the amount of comics that he has to bring outta my room... and all the rest of the little little deco on the top of my drawers.. kekeke... Not only that... the whole family's getting new cars... Like... the WHOLE FAMILY.. Ah-gong... I also want a car... hahahaha... all changing to merc.. tsk tsk... get what i mean?? Ah-gong.. I don't need a merc.. toyota or honda will do... lol... Think my dad will definitely NOT let me drive when I get back at the end of the year... Heard from my bro that it's really classy.. everything electronic dunno what... got screen to watch dvd some more... hai.... too bad ain't there to see the new car arrive... too bad won't get to look over the renovations either... Can imagine the amount of unpacking I need to do when I get back at the end of the year... ARGH!!!! It will be like moving to a new house! Cos they are extending my room.. think I'll feel real foreign...

School's started already.. think so far so good.. Only thing is... Have yet to settle my enrolment!!! Hahaha... Long story... Basically, offer came late so acceptance was late and so is everything else... Should be able to work out everything by the end of this week.. If not... there'll be a lot more things to do.....

Just for your info people, my graduation ceremony's on 28th Aug!!! Yes.. that's very soon! Haha.. dunno how come.. thought it'll be in sept or perhaps oct.. oh well.. earlier better... keke.. Mum should be coming down.. dunno about dad.. haha... that means that mum will be coming every 2 months.. keke.. last she came was in jun, then next will be aug followed by oct for another business trip. Yipee!!! Mummy come cook!!!!

Anywayz, gonna catch up with bro now.. Gotta find out just how much destruction the rats made. And am quite glad to hear that my rooms totally empty.. LOL!!

It's only four days since my bro left and am feeling so lonely... hai... my place feels really empty... don't really have anybody already.. only left with me ben and phie. Am glad that phie comes over often.. haha.. otherwise the place so quite..

Results just came out.. Think I did not bad considering how difficult the subjects actually were... But still feel that it's a pity.. missed a pass with distinction by 1 point.. which is a lot cos the WAM is the average mark of all subjects... 75 to get pass with distinction.. and I got 73.9... how pathetic is that... doesn't matter though.. am gonna go on with my masters. Need to check out the procedure.. don't think I have much time to sort out the administrations. Orientation's next week!!! So yea. I need to speed up with my application.. need to get visa sorted out too!

Graduation ceremony should be in sept or oct.. Still need to wait a while to check that out.

Quite bored now... to the point that am trying to install audition to play... but something wrong with the exe file.. sigh... think am not meant to play?? sad man...

The day has finally come.. wei has gone home.. so sad.. now the house seem so empty.. one less mouth to feed.. *sigh*... My sofa's finally free... dunno good or bad.. come to think of it.. seems like i didn't really bring my bro around.. =P

Was so cold this morning!! There was a hail storm! Wei so lucky. come first time only get to see hail storm. Been here so long and this is the first time I saw it with my own two eyes!

Long after dinner, went to harry's for hotdog!! kaka.. bro LOVES it. and mum loves the chicken and cheese pie too! Which reminds me... while on the way back to the hotel in the city, we stopped at a junction on the red light. This lady turned into the street before us and did an illegal u-turn. And mind you, it is a ONE WAY STREET. She u-turned to have her car facing ours on the other side of the junction! Dunno if she's drunk or just dumb cos all the cars were facing in one direction. Even if she missed the "One Way" sign, she could have made a calculated guess with all the cars parked on both sides of the roads facing in the same direction! Sigh.. no wonder there's discrimination against female drivers!

Celebrated mum's birthday today. heheh.. took her to hurricanes since she's never been there. too bad we missed the fried mars bar.. Will have to bring her when she makes her next trip here in October. (><) And then she can come and cook some more for me!!! YAY!!!

By the way, will take pics of the place once everything's arranged properly.. still messy cos we have yet to unpack our boxes of personal belongings. Plus, my bro's caming in my living room:

Good morning people!!! Just got up on a bright and sunny day. Ben's off for his paper.. hahaha.. The new place very shiok... felt as though I am staying in a hotel.. LOL!!!

Today's gonna be yet another long day. Gonna be shifting stuff from Shalom. But before that, think i wanna go grocery shopping!! Can finally stock up on fruits and proper food... wanna have cornflakes.. I need breakfast.... Hmmm.... Will see what I can come up with for the moment...

Me and Fire Alarms...

The night before, I decided to sleep early cos the furniture was coming in yesterday... And just when I was about to fall asleep, the fire alarm had to go off at Shalom... Was thinking "heng" nobody taking exam on sat.. otherwise the person would have been quite "dui"... hahahaha...

Didn't manage to sleep early in the end.. cos once past that certain hour, the sleepiness is gone.... ended up watching tv dramas.. haha...

The deliveryman for the electronics called at 6.42am in the morning.. so early!!! Just to tell me that they're coming between 9 to 12. Thank goodness got TV in the house already.. haha.. so was watching dvd while waiting for them... the rest of the furniture came later in the afternoon at about 3.30. Did a whole lot of laundry here.. tested out the washing machine.. heheh.. then the dryer.. Washed all the free dishes as well and stocked up on some food.. =)

Was so tired by 7.30... And just when phie and I was about to leave the place, the fire alarm went off!!! Dunno what happened.. Think fire alarm and I "hen you yuan".. Thank goodness nothing was wrong.. If just moved over then got fire will be super "suey" lahz... When i got back to Shalom and finished washing up, was sleeping like a pig by 9pm... Lol...

Slept all the way till 10 this morning.. was much more relaxing today. heheh... found out that the table was broken.. but nvm... they are replacing it this thurs, same day foxtel's coming in. (^^)YAY!! First thing that we did up is the bed frame.. haha.. in the end, decided to stay over for the night already.. So.. tonight's gonna be the first night in the new place!!! Wohohohoho....

By the way, I bought some PS2 games on impulse... really got nothing to do already.. haha.. only thing left's to fix up furniture.. Gonna go get pillows now.. =) Oh.. and on a side note, you don't hear much about Ben cos he's still studying for exams.. =p

today's a new day!!! How often do you hear me say that man? hahaha... one more day to go till the end of exams. XD

Didn't manage to study much earlier in the afternoon.. haha.. guess was just dead tired after the first paper... didn't manage to sleep before the paper.. still tried to bia cos scared later cannot finish studying finance... but seems like i'll make it just in time. =) slept at 5 plus and woke up at 11pm. Back to Vampire hours after a day's effort of turning back to normal.. hee... Should be studying all the way from after blogging till tmr's paper.. Really excited till can't sleep! So much on my mind.. but first I MUST FOCUS! Only after the paper can I go back to thinking about my house.. heheh.. One more day only! JIA YOU!

Just mailed my mum a list of what to bring.. haha.. top of the list is..... SINGAPORE MAHJONG SET!!! Since she coming with my bro, why not right? LOL... make full use of their luggage space. huahuah...

Finally!! I can safely say that i only have one more to go!!! Yippeee!!!!! hurr hurr hurr.. can't imagine the joy i feel... soon soon... two more days to end of exams for me.. huahuahuahuah....

Today's paper is not too bad i guess... The paper came out exactly as the lecturer said.. all the hints were ACTUAL HINTS!!! It's GOOD and it's BAD... GOOD cos i know how to answer the questions.. BAD cos EVERYBODY knows how to answer the questions... which means... that I have to have a super duper good and perfect answer to score really well... Hai....

No point dwelling over it.. A definite pass.. but as usual, people definitely pass subjects in uni, it's a matter of making the grade..

Gonna study for finance now.. JIA YOU JIA YOU!!!

Anyway, this is so random... never expected to meet anybody that I know at the exam hall today.. but unexpectedly, i met Hong Yi!!!! Long time no see long time no see.. hahaha... Ok.. back to study....

YAY!!!! Am finally having my first paper later!!! Hahaha... So exciting... Think i have prepared sufficiently... Well.. don't think there's more to learn... am not too sure... cos it's a gened (of which most of u know is irrelevant to my main course)... and i didn't even purchase the textbook.. then again.. they didn't say that it is compulsory for gened students... hehehe...

Educational psych... Was fun... but like all things... think it's fun for gaining general knowledge and not fun when it is examinable... but it's ok.. all of it is coming to an end... of which soon after, the knowledge of whatever i've acquired for this subject will be "returned back to the teacher"... haha...

That reminds me... they have misplaced my 50% essay... think i better check it out with the course coordinator after the paper... Email already no reply.. sigh... sure hope nothing goes wrong... X(><)X *cross fingers* dun wanna not be able to graduate cos of a gened...

It's almost 6 in the morning here and am still awake... Not that I haven't tried to sleep.. haha.. Have to get up early later.. Hmmm.. that sounds wierd... but i'm sure you know what I mean.. haha... need to hand in my jap report!!! Finally! This day has come!! The day where I can finally say:"two down two more to go!"(><)YAY!

Gonna go to my new place later.. Apparently the internet is not up there yet.. dunno what's wrong with the service... sure hope that all goes well before I move in..

Yes people.. it's the time of the semester again... Exam period!!! hahaha.. dunno whether to laugh or to cry... Happy cos it's finally here.. marks the end of the semester! Finishing my bachelor degree soon!! WOHOO!!! BUT... as all of you know.. it's also a time of self torture... kakaka... Soon soon.. Am counting down already! Last paper's on the 21st. Yay!! one more week.. one more week.. hehehehe....

As the title suggests... am back to sleeping in the day and being up in the night... Need to switch that back as my papers are all in the morning... Hai...

But looking on the bright side, once all of this is over, I'll be able to relax and enjoy!! LOL.. Won't be going back to Singapore though.. Will be moving outta college and staying on for my Masters degree. Can't wait for my mum and bro to come at the end of the month.. Then my bro can help me set up the house... kakakaka.... Cos most stuff are DIY here... Need as much help as I can get.. heee...

Been listening to online psych lectures for hours... That's retribution alright.. Wonder how much's stored in my head..

yo people.. as usual, long time no blog!!! kakakaka...

finally, phie phie is here!!! and with her, ah-boy papa and doreen mama... haha.. yay.. been having a lot of good food... dunno good or bad.. haha.. cos the ultimate aim of coming to aust is to try to not gain weight, which am failing really badly... =(

whoa.. really haven't been hanging around phie for a very long time already... she sooooooo funny.... she mistook a taxi driver for a policeman... LOL!!!! and saying that she's gonna "jian fei" while buying ice cream at the same moment... hai.... she and her renditions of "oh my gao!!" and just to play "audition" she doesn't wanna get outta clara's house anymore.. saying that she just realised that ang mo girls are really pretty, and ang mo gays are really "shuai" when the guy she was talking about was clearly asian... not to mention many many other funny things that she did...

Think am gonna get sick soon... been feeling giddy too often... really dunno what's wrong with me... but really hate that feeling... reminds me of the time i had gastric flu... sure hope that it's not that...

Have to study for finance mid-session... such a spoiler... feel as though am on a holiday now.. hahaha.. much thanks to ah-boy papa and family.. heheh... but must study study... paper's on tuesday!!!

Think ah-boy papa's gonna extend his stay till next fri.. sure hopes that he does so, then can send him off. gonna be having interaction test on wednesday so can't go to the airport together...

Ok.. think am not really in the right state to blog now.. Late in the night.. 2am in Aust... think i have some spelling prob now.. initially spelt the title School shool scool... hai...

Think this is retribution... never slept much last semester... but I feel like i've been needing a lot of sleep during this semester... haven't managed to stay awake through the night.. and i need at least 10 hours of sleep... hai... either that or i'm just getting old.. *cough*

this semester's started quite well i guess.. already into the 6th week of school and still wondering what i've been doing.. hehe.. think that's the result of a 3 month break... can't seem to get myself organized.. living by the day.. real last minute with work without knowing what's really going on... think this is real dangerous.. not knowing that i have something due till 2 days before the deadline... not good...

Think i've been watching too much tv... well... not technically... but still.. been watching seried or charm.. reminds me of the good old days when it was the talk of sec school.. everybody was watching while it aired on tv while i missed out.. it's so wierd how i would think, "oh.. so now I know how Prue died" years after the 3rd season was aired and discussed amongst my peers.. I'm lagging.... That's how i feel now..

This sem's jap is hard.... Really hope that i can keep my grads up... writing reports and presenting in Jap!!! Sounds really tough to me... Don't really think i have a need for this in the future.. but it's too late to back up now.. can only try to do my best and see..

Think am gonna miss lecture again tmr at 9... not like it's the first time I'm gonna miss it.. but thank God for i-lectures.... Zzz...

Hello hello!!!!

took some time off again.. hahahaha... CNY just passed.. well.. not really too.. but yea.. am sure that everyone had a great time.. heheh... took loads of nice pics.. BUT.. phie phie.. u say wanna send me the pics still haven't sent yet.. nvm... u can copy them over to my com once you are here.. =)

Am into the second week of school now. Still quite relaxing.. kakaka.. but yea.. need to buck up and gear up soon!!! Not long after, u shall see my complaints of heavy work load..

Will be finishing my undergrad degree soon.. Two years have passed in the blink of an eye... My little cousin's coming over to study soon too!!! Am so outta touch with the hol schedule for all the little ones still studying in pri and sec school... they are making me feel old... hai... Guess this is part of growing up huh... Suddenly u feel as though time is passing by too quickly.. haha..

Anywayz, as mentioned above, will be graduating mid of this year. However, will be staying for another year to finish my masters before heading into the workforce...

Am so looking forward to moving out of college.. Many closed friends have moved out.. so many new faces.. getting expensive.. miss you people... but good also.. cos there are many beautiful houses that i can go to now.. hahaha... and get some ideas from.. Am currently moving between places cos Ben stays at unilodge in the city.. haha... But phie phie is coming soon!! that makes the 3 of us.. lol.. should be quite fun.. getting my own place.. not like i dun have one now... but feels like am moving on to the next stage.. learn how to tidy an apartment, pay for utilities, shop for food, learn to cook.. kakaka.. so exciting. (><)

Am supposed to go to japan this sem.. but am thankful that i rejected the offer.. haha.. somehow things worked out better than expected. so yea.. Haven't given up the dream of staying in japan!! Will do so one day!! some time in the near future....... dreaming in lala land........ living in my castle high up in the sky... lalala...

Hmmm.. just realised that am not really putting any sense into what i'm typing.. no no.. i meant structure.. randomly putting in whatever i have in mind now.. as usual... am only updating this once in a while.. after many many things have happened.. so i dunno where to start and dunno where to end... think i should get organised... too much holiday.. my brain's scrambled..

Merry Christmas people!!! hahahaha... what a wonderful season... time to exchange presents.. share the joy.. heheh...

Haven't been blogging for a while.. so thought i'd just put everything into one entry now.. heheh.. Singapore's been raining.. lol.. a lot a lot... to the point that the place was flooded.. heheh.. yes... it was kinda a historical event.. like... this is the first time in 21 years of my life that i heard singapore's flooded.. and it affected me directly.. haha.. i couldn't get home cos the road was closed.. Lol... macritchie reservior overflowed.. kakakaka... for pics, take a look at my bro's blog. he managed to take pics and put them up.. heheh.. took those before the road was closed.. lol.. thanks for giving me warning bro... but appparently.. he didn't think to warn my mum... she took 157 (as usual) which detoured.. hahahaha.. and the bus uncle was lost, cos he's from m'sia and only knows the 157 route.. poor mum... must have been a really really long day for her... heheh...

Made a trip to the national museum too.. kakaka.. it's not like i had nothing to do k.. well.. on the other hand.. i was quite free too lahz.. haha.. when Ying called me that day to confirm about watching the Holiday, she was like.. "-_-'''... what the..." when i told her that i was the musuem.. LOL!!! but yea.. made a trip down there on purpose.. to take a look at the 3d painting on the floor.. think most of u should know what am talking about.. lol... most of u should have seen it on the internet, or email which has been circulated before.. really really cool.. the artist was in town.. haha.. drew a pic based on the story of mount faber.. heheh... that day shun bian took the chance to tour the place.. haha.. really.. been a long time since i last set foot there.. the last time was prob.... in sec or pri school??? on of the field trips... haha... well.. for those of u in singapore.. if ya wanna have a look at the 3d painting, think it's still on.. till this friday.. heheh.. so better get yourself down at the national museum before they clear it away...

went on cruise on the 22nd to the 24th.. heheh.. yea i know.. kinda been on cruise a little too often.. haha.. but i haven't been on cruise for a while.. and this is a different cruise.. moreover ying was performing!! of course gotta go and show support right??? heheh... she was great i would have to say.. heheh.. performing with the Drifters.. for those of u who dunno, they are a really old group.. they are the ones who sang "Under the Broadwalk".. kakaka... was really nice.. jazzy and christmasy.. heheh.. really really enjoyed it.. think wanna get more of their songs and put them on my playlist..

CHRISTMAS is finally here!!! hahaha.. I love christmas... my favourite season of the year.. heheh.. stretches over new year.. haha... think our church did a great job with the drama.. my cousins really enjoyed it.. sure hope that they would join us for thanksgiving too!! =) Wanna meet up with more people.. go shopping.. watch movies.. do anything under the sun.. haha.. then again... it's always raining... if only the rain were snow.. would have been fantastic... heheh... but yup.. this is our winter season in Singapore.. hahahaha... Yay!!! fianlly managed to go on a cruise... shiok shiok!! heheh... was on a cruise to penang and phuket.. haha.. some shopping!!! keke.. bought quite a lot of stuff.. mum's telling me to save them up for new year.. but.. me being me... hurr hurr hurr.. k lahz... haven't worn all of them yet.. just in case i can;t find anything suitable for cny in the next 2 months... heheh...

Finally got a massage after a long long long long time... haha... been massaging people.. always ask them.. i massage u... then who massage me.. kakaka.. went for an aroma therapic massage.. was so relaxing... think all of us fell asleep.. lol.. and were even snoring!! so embarrassing... hai... but can't help it.. was really good.. wanna go for one again!!!!

Been meeting up with people these past few days... eat eat eat and eat again.. hai.. sad case arh.. need to go jogging!!!!!

Just had christmas cell yesterday.. heheh.. so fun.. exchanging pressies.. kekeke.. got a monkey desk lamp!! LOL!! gotta admit that i didn't know what it was fo intially.. haha.. had to read the instructions.. thank god i know jap.. lol... quite useful... heheh.. but need to go get batteries first. kakaka... can put paper, memo.. and the head lights up when the switch is on!!! kakaka.. really cute... before that went to vivo city with will, jose and ben.. haha.. first time going into the carpark.. so high tech.. we felt so suagu... each slot had a censor above it... not only that, if the slot's available, the light would be green.. if not, it'd be red.. hahaha... that's how ben spotted a slot.. kekeke...

besides that, bought myself a little moo moo while shopping for the christmas present on thurs.. heheheh... been eyeing on it for a long time.. since i came back in sept... but was sold out when i first got back in sept... chanced upon it on thurs so took the chance to buy it before it is sold out again.. (><) am thinking if i should get the big on from taka now.. haha... the big and huggable one... got taka vouchers and dunno what to use them on anyway.. dun really shop in taka... so high end... was thinking either use it on beard papa, or the moo moo... hmmm.... and must remember to use the hmv vouchers too.. dunno what's good.. kakaka... haven't been listening to the radio much... think the vouchers don't have expiry dates stamped on them..

gotta get up early for church tmr.. then gonna meet up with will and jose for tea.. they going back to aust so early... though they just flew to sg not too long ago.. hai.. less people to go gai gai with... dunno what they gonna do in aust.. but sure hope they enjoy their hols still.. heheh..

Been trying to talk my dad into letting me go indo for holiday.. haha... but failing terribly... he thinks the place is too dangerous.. hmmm... come to think of it... it's quite a weird day today... so happen that my aunt brought up the topic.. my aunt's maid who's going back brought up the toipc later in the night too.. lol.. dunno if their talking helps.. hahaha... but will ask again!!!! wanna go holiday holiday!!! lalala...

that reminds me... half my family just flew to hong kong today.. how come my family never go eh... hai... seems like this year quite a lot of people i know are going to hong kong too... dunno when would be my turn... not anytime soon i guess.. mum says the place is ex too.. accomodations especially.. ooo.. and just celebrated another cousin's birthday too!!! haha... happy birthday EMMIE!!! 14 already!!! keke.. still so young... can't quite remember what i was doing when i was 14... haha.. seem so long ago...

Finally went to develop the pictures today.. haha.. procrastinated for so long... but thought should develop the pics with family memebers and give them out.. besides pics from my birthday, brought ivanna's and my bro's b-day pics to develop too.. man.. so many photos... 331 to be developed.. what's worse is that i only picked the nice ones.. imagine developing ALL the pics...

So much for wanting to develop ALL the pics I took in aust.. since last year.. hai... so much to do... Finally managed to get my birthday dress today... after so many days of shopping.. Lol.. and in the end.. I didn't even pay for it.. the Indos bought it for me... Lol.. quite ex lehz I felt... but it was so sweet of them... am gonna wear it on my birthday for sure... keke... too bad they can't attend lahz... that's edmond, daniel and andre...

Evan's finally flying in tmr... (or rather.. today...) the poor boy.. waited so long for this day.. the accounting lecturer is just being mean lahz... made them wait so long to know if they had to take sub paper or not... but nvm.. at least he gets to go back now.. Home Sweet HOME!!!

Am finally HOME!!! hurr hurr hurr... Well.. not today... was back since tues night.. haha.. but been quite busy..

Slept in on wed... Had to go round seeing my relatives first and distributing krispy kremes in the afternoon.. LOL... Attended wei wei's wedding dinner with dad at night... she was super pretty lahz... hai.. too bad I forgot to bring the camera... Met up with my cousins and bro after that to celebrate my bro's 18th birthday.. heheh.. long time since we had such a cousin gathering.. haha.. was so fun...

Only had two hours' sleep to get up at 8 on thurs.. not like i didn't wanna sleep in really.. heheh... but mum booked a facial and hair cut at 930.. had to drag myself outta bed.. BUT the massage that came with the facial was good... LOL!! been waiting for it for a while already.. haha.. practically a full body massage!!! so shiok... nobody to massage me when in aust.. haha.. Met up with Ying after that to settle our birthday k.. Lol.. Ended up buying a wedding cake for our birthday.. kakaka.. I know that sounds funny... Told her from the start that it feels as though we are planning for OUR wedding.. huahuah... coming up with the food list etc.. hai.. but yea.. think the cake's really nice.. it's not what u guys are thinking k.. not the mutli-layer one with the doll bride and groom on top... heheh... will take a pic and post it up after our birthday celebration lahz.. Had dinner out with some friends after that.. quite a tiring day...

Edmond and Daniel came today.. heheh.. met a lot of my cousins today.. think they must be super tired.. Lol... we were all so secretive cos we had a surprise "formal" birthday celebration (with cake) for my bro.. the collage of our pics looked really nice.. hmmm... if wanna see have to ask my bro lohz.. heheh.. went to town early to get a sim card for edmond.. never knew that M1 had quite good deals for prepaid.. think i would never have known if not for them... kaka.. cos most sg residents go on plan anywayz...

Managed to meet up with Kun too.. not paul ooi though.. hai.. my comics.. nvm.. still got 3 months to collect back from him... LOL.. the most.. go his work place look for him.. otherwise.. still know where he lives.. kakakaka..

Going back to see my baby cousin.. Due early dec.. kekeke.. hopes that it (sorry yi yi.. I dunno the gender...) comes out on my birthday.. then we can share the same birthday!!! huahuahauh....

As for my 21st... Will be having dinner with family on the day itself.. heheh... gonna be quite massive I think... Cos seriously... our family is really big.. Solely from my dad's side... then plus my mum's and Ying's mum's side... Yes.. we are celebrating together... lol.. then our dad's side won't have to go for 2 different celebrations since mine's on the 2nd and Ying's on the 3rd.. And ah-ma's birthday so happen to fall on the 4th.. so... this would be the best I guess.. heheh.. Booked the function room for 100 guests... (I stress again.. just family..) So yea.. sorry I can't invite u guys.. heheh.. Ying and I have decided to celebrate individually with u guys.. so yea.. haha.. better lahz.. otherwise think you people will feel kinda outta place with so many relatives around.. kekeke... And really gotta thank Ying for organising most of it.. haha.. Am just going back and signing the invites before sending them out.. Hai.. Have been spending time sorting stuff out since am so free these few days... People come and go asking me what have I been doing.. and the answer is always the same: nothing.

Called home more than usual... Mailed more than usual... Chatted more than usual... Blogged more than usual... So much has gone on without me knowing... Spoke with my mum more than usual.. Told my dad more than usual... Sometimes I wonder if I've kept too much to myself.. Sometimes I wonder if I've siad too much... But it really felt encouraging to hear this from my dad: But it is still your choice. As long as you are happy with your choice, i will still accept it.

Haha.. yes.. for people who know my dad.. This is a really rare and sweet statement from him... He's a man of few words.. We hardly even speak to each other to begin with... Hai.. Felt like crying when I saw that mail from him lahz...

Anywayz, like i said... am really looking forward to going back... Can't wait for exams to end just like everybody else... At the moment... Will look for something to do.. The most (I stress THE MOST) will start studying for my jap paper which is a a week away... (Can hear protests from the people already...) heheh... 20%.. Nothing big.. keke.. Yay!! am unofficially done with my exams... all the best for u guys who are still mugging for your first paper.. hurr hurr hurr.. but yea.. am only unofficially done.. still have my paper on the 21st... So am pretty free from now till then.. heheheh...

Finally managed to get a good rest last night... Couldn't sleep at all for the entire week because of the paper.. and the only time when I managed to get a 2 hour nap, I was dreaming that everybody was telling me to study STudy STUDY!!! was such a nightmare.. hahaha.. Lost quite a bit of appetite too.. but yay.. that's all over... am gonna get enough rest and get my appetite back.. keke.. So that I can go for buffets when i get back to singapore!! (><)

Have decided to put up a tag board again.. haha.. since am blogging more often now.. easier to read random comments there lahz.. heheh.. anyway, anybody need anything from australia?? if u guys do need something please tell me yea.. since am quite free now.. one and a half weeks.. really dunno what to do since everybody else is studying... hai.. so yea.. might go shopping and stuff.. heheh.. this is prob the only sem which am free to go shopping during the exam period.. Lol..

EXAMS!!

Yes... the time has come AGAIN!!!! nothing new.. Just exams.. Lol... Have two papers to sit for this sem.. well.. at least in the official exam time frame.. if not, it's still the usual guys.. we all know that we have to take at least three modules a sem.. so yea.. cleared one earlier this week already and my fourth module is assignment based.. so yeah.. that's the only diff.. LOL..

My first official paper's on next fri!! Need to start studying.. such a difficult module.. Research Methods.. but what was I expecting! it IS a course required for honours.. hai.. really not my cup of tea... Last papper's gonna be on the 21st.. yes.. 11 days to study.. for a 20% JAP paper.. some of u are envious.. yes... but really.. we dun need 11 days to study for jap! and I wanted it to be earlier to that i can pack and say "have a great holiday"!! am looking forward to going back.. lol.. cos my bro's 18th b-day's coming up!! (as well as my 21st..) well.. not only that.. it's such a HOLIDAY SEASON!! CHRISTMAS!!! NEW YEAR!!! CHINESE NEW YEAR~~~ hai.. just can't wait.. am already in the mood!! NNNOOOOO!!! can't!! gotta keep focused now.. just a few more days.. NEED TO STUDY!!!

Anywayz, yes.. updates.. I'll just update u guys on the past two days k... Too long never update already can't remember what happened when.. Yesterday we went for Ivanna's 21st.. haha.. Theme's headwear. Really difficult but was great fun!! heheh.. got the swap them around throughout the night. Really like caps but dun really wear them.. lol.. I should have bought that jumbo deck of cards for him instead of letting him have a look and ending up having him buy a pack for himself.. just for amusement.. lol... Dun worry Ra!! Next week's gonna be hectic.. a paper on mon and tues then presentations and assignments due on wed and thurs.. ok.. not a big surprise.. haha.. am down with a flu.... kinda weird cos it didn't come with the fever.. it's like.. after the fever's totally gone, i started having a running nose.. and when that stopped, my throat started to hurt and is actually sore now.. hai.. no.. please don't ask me to go to the doctor.. my funds are running out.. hahaha.. docs are super ex here.. and i'm going back soon so am gonna HANG IN THERE!!! *cough*

haven't progressed much since the start of the week.. supposed to have finished studying for one finance paper.. oh well.. just gotta speed things up yea.. heheh.. went to the podiatrist today.. no worries. just a follow up.. haha.. was supposed to see him last week but forgtot to make an appointment. =p Anyway, my foot's totally healed!! yay!! but gotta still be careful cos my immune system's down.. dun wanna get warts again.. yeee.....

anywayz... encountered quite a lot of prob with my com over since yesterday.. like.. no big deal?? not really.. it is different cos am in australia.. hahaha.. if i were in singapore, the com being down ain't a big prob at all.. LOL.. but internet here is like.. your only contact with things other than school.. hurr hurr.. ok.. think i am not making sense... hai..

feel like a slug rotting in my room.. came down with a fever on monday.. and it's weird cos my mum called me the day before to ask me how was I. she said she called cos the maid dreamt of me the night before.. when i told her on tues that i'm sick, she told me that the maid dreamt that i was sick that's why she called.. wow..

being the funny girl i am, sick of being confined in my little room, i decided to go for fitness class with kun rui.. LOL.. wasn't very well done of me really.. cos my body was aching badly after that and still is today.. walked up the campus like an ah-ma.. tsk tsk..

looking on the brighter side, I am going home soon!! hahahaha.. two more weeks and i'll be back.. then again, am going back to extract more wisdom teeth.. causing me probs they are.. think am perpetually bleeding from the bottom left gum cos the tooth is trying to force its way out already.. ouch..

Week 13

Yay!!! It's finally week 13!! hurr hurr.. haven't been typing much now.. think it's a side effect of the tonnes of essays which I had throughout the semester... puts me off typing for a while.. heheh... but am so happy!!! am finally done with one of the most tedious modules!! kekekeke.. handed in the final essay last week.. technically speaking am done with the whole course.. but still gotta attend lecture and tut just for attendance marks..

Went for a yose (prounounced as yo-say) the other week. It's a jap performance with by 3 people. one was a story teller, the other a paper cutter and another a saw player.. it was so amusing and so cool!!! it sure was worth it cos of the student discount which i got.. heard that it costs about A$30 to watch one in Japan.. but only paid $5 here.. keke.. but it was really really good.. went for that with hiro, haru and jeemay.. I enjoyed the saw player the most! he played quite a variety of songs.. from american jazz and blues to classicals.. tsk tsk.. too bad i forgot to bring my cam!! argh!!! think there would hardly be a chance to see it again.. this just so happen to be in collaboration with the japan-australia year of exchange thing..

am almost donw with my school term here now.. one more week to go then it'll be exam period.. ain't looking forward to it but still gotta welcome it.. haha.. cos i get to go home after that.. heheh.. can hardly wait!! yay!! gonna be watching x-men 3 tonight.. yay.. relaxation at last...

I'm sure that i have never been more messy in my life.. papers and books are all over the place and i really don't know where to start.. haha.. assignments assignments assignments... driving me nuts.. one after another.. tsk tsk..

It was dejavu i tell you.. had a major assignment due and started getting nightmares!! one really distinctive was about me going to the arts building to hand up my jap report on the dot at 5pm. we were supposed to drop it into the assignment box and just as I was about to drop my assignment into that box, I looked up to see so many more assignment boxes on the walls with lables on them!! and cos it's already 5, and i couldn't decide which is the right assignment box, my assignment was counted as being handed in late!! such a nightmare.. and what shocked me is that when i went to drop the assignment on the actual day, the place had an assignment box alright, plus containers up on the walls with labels on them.. considering i've never been to that spot before.. I truely think that it's quite scarey...

Watched two movies last night.. haha.. cos it was movie night in college.. watched this movie called "love me if u dare". It's a french movie.. the style of it really reminds me of "amelie".. I would say that it was a very err.. artistic show.. not like those we watch and get to relax u know.. and the other one's "crash". the sandra bullock show... dunno how come they used her name for this..considering she didn't appear on the screen for more thatn 20mins? a show about racism.. quite disturbing.. so it's not a show u wanna watch charmaine...

Think am coming down with the flu.. approaching winter now.. crazy weather.. one day it's super cold and i had to wear 3 layers of clothings and the next, it was warm and sunny and I only needed a laying.. started popping flu pills yesterday.. slept half the day away.. need to start working again but kinda lost the drive... hai.... but on the other hand.. 4 more weeks of school and I am done!!!! so looking forward to it.. keke.. exam time table's out.. two finance papers back to back and my jap paper one week after to end on the 29th of june. have a flight back on the 1st but am gonna puch it forward to come back on 30th. yay!! all's set and I can start counting down!!! hurr hurr hurr hurr...

Been a hectic two weeks since the sem started again.. haha.. loads of assignments due and mid-sessions.. Am only sleeping on every alternate night... lol.. but hey.. in hte midst of it am still having fun!!

Lucky me, I got a taste of tian's PEI DAN porridge!! huahuahah.. quite unbelievable right?? guess this is what happens when u come to aussie land to study and live in your own apartment.. but hey.. think that's good man.. keke.. improves your cooking skills.. unlike me, am staying in college.. dun get to cook.. lol.. took the chance to do it when i got back to singapore.. but my cooking skill's going down the drain!! totally lost my ability to estimate more or less accurately.. My own cooking even tasted foreign to me.. yup.. that's how bad it is alright.. dunno how it's gonna be when i return this july..

Managed to attend the honour's year thesis presentation... ssssooooooo cheeeeeem... totally could not understand a word they were saying.. wonder how the honour year students got their own ideas of what to research on.. so much for me considering taking honours.. looks difficult... gotta BUCK UP!!!! (though i have yet to set my mind on it...)

Anyways, Ivanna's bf is here!!! huhauahuah.. kinda marked as an important event of the semester!! keke.. his arrival gives us all the more reason to go out.. keke.. and it means that we are closer to the end of the semester!! woohoo!!!! gonna be home soon.. kekekeke.. Went to watch MI3 on friday night.. heheh.. all of us thought that it's the best outta all 3.. so remember to go catch it yea!!

Huahuahuh.. that was the ultimate man.. only proves one thing.. that she really hasn't been around!! Other than that, one person missing from this event is definitely Justin.. heheh.. had him around to provide some music with his guitar in last session's bbq.. =p

Will be heading to the fish market later today.. heheh.. it is one place that one visiting definitely has to go.. and i haven't even been there yet.. =) Before that, CHURCH!! heheh.. then may drop by somewhere in the city for karaoke.. gonna enjoy myself before hitting the books again!! got a paper tmr.. hai...

Am back in Sydney!! haha.. don't sound too excited eh?? lol.. cos it means it's time to finish my report and study for mid-sessions!!! quite amazing how the timing of my papers fall nicely into place.. haha.. really gotta thank God for that.. Had to hand in an assignment today, and gonna have my finance papers on wed and fri.. really nicely spaced out.. lol.. just like last sem's final exams.. had 3 to 4 days break between each paper.. heheh..

Anyway, did some shopping on my last day in Melbourne.. haha.. heard that they sell stuff cheaper there.. and true enough they do!! they have streets where stuff are sold at warehouse prices.. keke.. am sure that sydney has this too.. but just dunno where.. and ain't as accessible i guess.. Have to check that out!!! went to maccas to have my final meal in melbourne.. haha.. yeah.. i know.. u must be thinking: what the... there is a reason yeah.. heheh.. Yan was working, so we paid her a visit!! haha.. was a really funny sight.. cos we had to pretend that we didn't know each other!! Jane couldn't hold her laughter.. keke.. Yan gave us extra food.. Lol..

came back to sydney at night.. haha.. thanks for picking me up eddie... can't imagine going back in a cab alone and spending another bomb on cab fare.. realy ain't cheap.. slept into thursday after that.. and heard tales of fonz's redecorated room.. Lol.. it was his birthday.. haha.. shall not go into detail now.. but the stuff u guys did were really extensive eh.. must have had a hard time helping him clean up too.. Lol... went to Hurricanes for dinner... heheh.. well known for it's ribs.. comparitive to Manly's eh?? This kinda dinner can only go once.. haha.. no more of such luxury for this second half of the session.. had a full rack.. huahuah.. shared with chloe.. was so full after that.. definitely not gonna have ribs in the near future.. think it would have been better if we shared it between 3 people.. keke... but it really is yummy.. heheh... will be posting up the pics soon i guess.. it's with jose.. lol.. may be able to give u guys a look of fonz's room.. huahuah... will update that in another entry..

3rd Day in Melbourne!!

Wow!! it's already my 3rd day in melbourne.. and know what?? I haven't really done anything!!! Lol.. Woke up quite early today.. but continued to lie on the mattress cos i didn't really know what time we were supposed to wake up.. haha.. yeah.. we were at denise's place.. keke.. they didn't know that i was already up.. lol.. Jane woke up saying, "cold... winter..." cos it was really quite cold last night i guess.. haha.. i said i guess cos they were feeling cold and i wasn't.. lol.. so i switched on the fan above me.. and they got really cold.. haha.. think they think that i siao already.. cos they were freezing.. keke.. jane had to sleep with her thick winter coat on.. hmm.. thinking that we were still sleeping, denise tried to wake us up with her rendition of a song from the phantom of the opera.. hahahaha.. see meiling, must have been cos you did something that's why i remember you k.. hahaha.. u must have done something to make me remember you from GB!!!!

whoa.. since the time i came to melbourne arh.. have been doing really weird stuff.. haha.. first time i walk on the streets in the night in my PJs with a blanket in my hand... that just doesn't happen in singapore... lol.. well.. maybe.. when i walk from my place to my cousin's.. lol.. but that's like a few seconds.. haha.. Jane and I dressed up as though it's snowing.. keke.. so funny... Had to walk back the same way in the morning.. lol.. the worst thing's that the weather was so warm this morning.. and the streets were filled with people.. haha.. the scene was really head turning.. hai...

Went to Paragon for traditional breakfast.. that was our brunch.. heheh.. toast, poached eggs, i had salmon.. lol.. sauteed mushrooms.. hashbrowns... yum yum.. heheh.. Went to the Australian Centre of Moving Images today with Jane, Denise, Steph (who happen to my Sec school junior..) and Yan (whom I still don't know why I find her so familiar too..) haha.. they had to do a report on these films that they were watching for psychology.. Went for fun.. haha.. and was hypnotised to sleep.. Oops.. heheh..

Went for a movie together after that.. haha.. She's the Man.. quite a nice show. heheh.. the guy's quite cute.. =p Had Max Brenner's for dinner.. sadly they didn't have the magic balls drink.. haha.. time for Jane and the rest to come to Sydney!!! hehehehe..

Yeah!! Am finally in Melbourne!! Hahaha.. Am bunking in at Jane's place.. lol.. first day here and already on my way to Planetshakers!! Heheh.. Service was really good!! haha.. it was in the evening.. keke.. if i had known would have flown in later.. lol.. thought service's in the morning so i took the early morning 715 flight.. whoa~ haha.. but it was good.. got to rest first before going to chruch.. heheh.. was packing up my room the night before..

Pastor Matt Fielder is such a nice person.. haha.. had a chat with him.. so fatherly... Felt so much more motivated after speaking to him.. haha.. got to know some of Jane's church friends too.. heheh.. but got to know too many people in too short a time.. can't really remember names.. sorry guys!!

Had dinner together in China town.. haha.. yeah.. that's where the picture is taken.. keke.. was really full.. went to Crown to have a look too.. Guess that's the only place where shops are still open at night I guess.. went to this restaurant called Greco i think.. Had apple struddle and this berry cake.. haha.. got home late..

Talked late into the night with Jane.. haha.. had so much to share.. =) Was intending to get up early today so we could go shopping.. but got up at 3pm... the day was quite wasted.. haha.. but we met up with Denise! and know what?? the world is so small!! Thought I saw her somewhere before!! and I did!! sometime during secondary school in camp i think.. lol.. somehow I knew that she's from MGS and from GB.. just don't really remember under what circumstances have we met.. haha.. so unexpected.. lol..

Had Korean food for dinner tonight.. heheh.. BBQ chicken and stir fried fish with rice.. sounds really plain and simple.. but they are really really yummy.. hurr hurr hurr.. oh!! and i finally had the infamous hot cross buns!! tsk tsk.. never thought that they were actually really very simple small buns.. always thought that they were hot dogs with a cross drawn across the top with ketchup or something.. whoa.. looks like i quite suagu arh...

The night ended with Lydia's 21st speech. Haha.. what are her aspirations etc etc.. can't believe you siad you wanna be miss singapore.. huahuah.. though it was a joke.. keke.. but i do agree withthe guys that you would make a better miss singapore than the ones that we have.. Lol..

Today's good friday and it's a public holiday.. like duh.. haha.. but.. the thing is that it's literally public.. like.. NOTHING's open.. yeah.. meaning the big shopping malls, grocery stores.. EVERYWHERE'S CLOSED. Haha.. Liting and I took a bus all the way to East Gardens to only see the place closed and take the bus back.. such a waste of my travel ten... Kathleen and I checked the net to see if the gym's open. And they did say that it's open on public hols from 10am to 8pm. Guess what.. we got all dressed up and walked all the way there to find that it is CLOSED too... whoa... never do we ever consider such things in Singapore.. haha.. Finding shops closing at 6 here is shocking enough!! Worse still, they are totally closed on public hols!! Now THAT'S something new!

Just started packing up for the weekend now.. heheh.. am going to melbourne soon!! (><) Gonna get Krispy Kremes tmr afternoon instead.. haha.. cos it's a morning flight on sun.. won't be able to get them then. heheh.. packed in quite a lot of stuff to bring to melb. heard that the weather's crazy.. better to be safe than sorry huh.. Haven't really thought of what I wanna do there yet.. haha.. but definitely will be bringing some notes to study.. hai.. mid-session's after the break.. so sad.. but this gices me time to catch up with whatever work I have. heheh.. Will be on my way there in a day!! haha.. am so looking forward to it!! JANE!! HERE I COME!!!

EXERCISE!!!

YAY!! Feel so proud of myself!! Huahuahuahuah.. I ran today!!! YAY!!! Haha.. Haven't been exercising for a week already.. felt so uncomfortable.. ya know.. it's kinda like.. a habit already.. which is good right?? keke.. hafta exercise!!! Lol.. well.. haven't been exercising for obvious reasons.. no.. definitely not cos of exams alright.. truth be told.. i didn't even study for them.. really.. like.. just did last minute revivion on the night before.. huahuah.. not very proud of it but.. oh well.. it just happens.. =p

Guess I did well today.. Lol.. after such a long break.. cos the doc said no exercise till my foot's healed.. and since I just saw him on tues, and HE said that it's healing well, just took the chance! Lol.. Told him cos I needed to walk.. like duh.. haha.. but yeah.. got too many things to do.. and walking on the side of my foot gives me cramps.. Told him that it's cos i want to exercise, and he LAUGHED!! hey.. that's the truth.. am wasting my gym membership.. I've also let my foot rest one extra day on wed cos of the wart burn. had to keep the foot dry for the first 24 hours. and today.. woohoo!!! just couldn't resist the good weather!! very good for a jog indeed!! heheh.. ran 7 rounds round the oval.. that's approx 3.5km.. huahuah.. got improvement.. not bad not bad.. was just telling kathleen how usually when i hit the 5th round I'd get a tummy ache and need the toilet.. but it didn't happen this time!! heheh.. but am still wasting my gym membership.. paid for that.. hmm.. but won't have time till after the easter break.. otherwise... maybe this fri?? kekekekeke..

My foot still looks disgusting.. it's turning black cos of the acid burn.. and i had to invest in more stuff like the sports tape to conceal it... yeeee.... but hey.. ain't hurting.. so it's good! =) it's weird however.. like when i was running, was suddenly thinking of this episode of Grey's Anatomy where this guy cut off his own broken finger so that he could play in a game where there were scouts looking for potential players, thinking that he could get the docs to sow back his finger after the game.. but he risked an infection and could no longer play hockey because of that.. wonder why i thought of that as i ran.. hmmm.. can't imagine not being able to run forever.. weird... too weird.. such negetive thoughts.. not good for me!!

Went to Coles to pick up some necessities.. more cotton for my foot.. more tissue.. It's amazing how I use tissue.. like.. i thought i had an extra box but there wasn't any left.. hmmm.. never realised that I used them that quickly.. Got a cuter box now.. YAY!!(><) it's winnie the pooh.. winnie the pooh.. errr.. k.. i dun really know how to type the rest of the song.. huahuah.. bought juice and yogurt.. AND.......... couldn't resist.. CHIPS!!!!! LOL!!! yes.. so much for self discipline.. but it's 2 for $4!!! hai... dunno why i got the juice and yogurt too.. gonna be at melbourne anywayz.. HAIzzz... that reminds me.. I can't believe u spelt juice as j-u-i-S-e kun... like.. the whole dinner table was stunned!! YES!! STUNNED!! Nobody moved even a milimetre!! -_-'' for the rest of the people reading this and for the record, she seriously did NOT purposely mis-spell that.. tsk tsk.. time to go back to kindergarten now..

Passover

Today's the start of passover at college.. Yeah.. Forgot about it.. Being jewish college, the festival of Passover is a great deal. No bread, pasta, rice etc for the next 8 days... will be having unleavened bread called mazah.. Gonna be having cold food too.. arh... ain't looking forward to my next 8 days here.. At least I'll be at Melbourne for 4 days.. =p

Heheh.. am finally gonna start my easter break tomorrow!! haha.. have an interaction test for jap though.. can't relax too much now.. and i gotta finish most of my work before i leave... mid sessions are on the week right after the break.. hai.. and i have to remember to type my report for Jap Studies presentation...

Went for my follow up today.. heheh.. seems like my foot's healing fine. =) my next follow up's gonna be in a month's time. this time we're gonna get rid of the warts for sure!!! gonna kill them!! Muahuahuahuah.. sounding kinda evil now.. but hey.. they're giving me a lot of trouble and costing me a lot of money.. Oooo.. have to go to Medibank to check if I can make claims for those treatments.. I WANT MY REBATE!!! Think most prob will make a trip down tomorrow or something.. Have to go to Coles to get some daily necessities too... Getting pretty forgetful nowadays.. In the process of getting old huh.. Lol...

Easter Approaching!!

Yeah!! Easter's approaching!! heheh.. sorry lahz.. no updates cos didn't really do much.. Have been confining myself to my nice little room.. Lol..

Well.. that ain't exactly true.. haha.. following last week's nitrogen freeze, the pain didn't subside.. in fact, it got worse.. went jogging on sat itself.. lol.. yeah.. and on mon was walking up and down campus for classes.. and it really did hurt quite a lot.. like.. i had to walk with the side of my foot instead of with my whole foot. so got quite a bit of muscle cramp on the left leg and right calf.. didn't even realise that my big toe's swollen till the end of the day.. it was literally twice it's normal size.. went to see another gp on tues.. he had to refer me to a specialist.. a podiatrist.. and gave me some antibiotics cos he said it's infected.. went straight to the podiatrist across the road.. thought to just make an appointment first but luckily, the podiatrist was available!! yeah!! and thank goodness kathleen and kunni went with me.. heheh.. but felt kinda bad making them wait.. anyways.. the foot didn't look too good.. the podiatrist had to cut the hole open to remove pus.. yea.. removed quite a bit of flesh too.. then got it all wrapped up.. i have to redress it everyday.. yea.. do a follow up next tues too.. hai.. the foot's costing me a bomb... got an mc for tues.. didn't attend my lecture on wed but went for an one hour jap tut.. took twice as long as usual to limp to my classroom.. felt real pathetic.. but hey.. am healing quite well i guess.. heheh.. perhaps i can go for a run tmr.. ><

Week 5!!!

It's week 5 of school now!! really can't believe it.. hahaha.. another 2 more weeks and will be on my way to melbourne!! lol... then again.. after the hols gonna be mid session exams.. so sadly.. ain't gonna be in melbourne for long.. 4 days only.. then gonna be back to start doing work for the new term and study for the exams.. *sob*

Hmm.. seems like my warts are making slow progress... maybe I should change doc.. Dunno if it's supposed to take weeks of nitrogen freezing.. this week's real painful.. hopefully it'll subside by tmr.. wanna go work out!! haha.. feeling kinda guilty cos of some chips and chocs.. hmmm.. some..

Been to Hong Yi's house warming last sat night.. haha.. seemed like a mini shalom gathering since almost half the crowd there was from shalom..

That's quite the few of us from college who went.. haha.. but not all of us are in the picture.. and hong yi's room's too small to accomodate all of us.. maybe should have taken it in the living room.. but yet again, there were other guests around.. haha.. the guy taking the pic was like.. pressed to hongyi's cupboard already.. was great fun.. heheh.. and the food was REALLY GOOD.. i had 3 PLATES OF FRIED RICE!!! YA!!! can't believe I ate that much too.. plus drinks and chicken wings, curry and dessert.. tsk tsk... couldn't help it.. what's more's that it's all HOME MADE!!! oh my goodness.. think i need to brush up my cooking skills now.. running outta touch.. haha.. and i wanna learn how to make that cream puff and blueberry cheesecake!!! (><)

There's been a lot of talk about going on an exchange now.. haha.. though am almost in that position currently, i really still wanna go to JAPAN!!! my lecturer's really cool about it. heheh.. other procedures ain't that tough.. only thing's convincing my dad now i think.. really have to try real hard with that.. and if all's well, I'll be going in semester one of 07!! yup.. my final semester here before i graduate.. thinking of it gets me excited.. haha.. think it's gonna be really exciting!! hai.. but there's this one prob... seems like there is a maximum amount of credit that can be transferred from an overseas institution to constitute a degree here in UNSW.. and I already have 48 credits transferred from Singapore Poly... if I were to go, it'll be another 18 credits.. need to clear that up with the faculty office tmr.. at the meantime.. gonna work on my dad I guess.. =p

ok.. it's not been a long time since i updated my blog.. but hey.. things happen daily eh?? haha.. what am I saying.. sorry.. am just kinda spouting rubbish now..

I have come to a conclusion that I have something against nitrogen freeze.. like.. last week before i went for one, I started developing rash on my legs.. and this week, cos I had to do a follow up, I had to go do the freeze again yesterday.. and know what?? the rash on my legs were long gone.. but I started getting rash round my torso.. like.. just on the area of skin covering my ribs! You should have seen the look on the doc's face.. hahaha.. every week i come by with something new.. hmmm.. besides that, I have a huge hole in my foot now.. Nope.. it's not the result of the wart falling off.. the warts are still there.. to the left and the right of the hole.. think the doc burnt away good skin the last time round.. so there's a hole there now.. looks quite gross.. can see my muscle in the sense of the word.. the flesh.. the red.. raw... err.. ya.. muscle.. hahahaha... and it hurts.. it's exposed!! no skin to protect it.. hmmm.. this is kinda bad...

Got up late today... was supposed to finish all my tuts so that i can study for my test next week.. haha.. but know what?? went straight for lunch then a piano session with my private jap tutor, Hiro!! man.. he's cool.. like.. he didn't learn music the normal way.. u know.. the theory.. the practical.. he just learnt chords from friends i think.. then he composed his own songs!! seriously!! about to 7 songs! and they sound really nice... hai.. that's what we call talent eh?? heheh.. am learning his songs from him now.. heheh.. just hope that i don't forget them.. cos they're really nice!! and in the blink of the eye, it's 4 already!!!! gonna prepare to go for fitness sessions now.. haha.. so much for finishing my tuts.. better get them done tonight!!!!!

Oh.. by the way.. easter's coming soon!! gonna be in melbourne with Jane!! haha.. planet shakers here I come!! will fly in on a sunday morning cos the ticket there on sun is real cheap! $59 only!!! yeah.. have to work out a plan eh.. like.. just goona drop my bags and go straight to church!! YAY!! Went to the long awaited Jamberoo yesterday!! heheh.. Had quite a lot of fun.. Was so tired at the end of the day.. Lol.. turned in at 10!! Now that's a change!!

We got up early at 630!! Haha.. ok.. not exactly we.. but me! then yet again, I didn't get up at 630, I got up at 6!! haha.. don't ask me why k.. i just did.. automatically.. and it was quite miraculous considering that i turned in at 4.. hmmm.. -_-

The journey down was about an hour plus and we just yaked and yaked.. ok.. not exactly we.. that's me again.. haha.. cos i didn't wanna go back to sleep.. gonna be really groggy when i got up again.. quite funny during the trip down.. people were taking snap shots of others sleeping.. name it and we have it.. couples.. people sleeping with their mouths open.. and err.. that's really up to your imagination now.. haha..

Arriving there early, we really didn't have any idea what we wanted to do.. and taking a look at the place, err.. one day is more than enough for jamberoo i would say.. haha.. u can see the entire theme park (if you can call it that..) at one glance.. keke.. yes.. means it's actually very small.. very very.. ok.. i should just stop it.. small..

There are a few things that are really interesting though.. I can't remember what that ride's called.. but we have to take the "cable car" up and sit on this sled like thingy and roll all the way down the metal canal.. haha.. reminds me of the lupe. this winter olympics category.. dunno if u know about that.. hmmm.. anyways.. it's really simple! you have a lever in the middle between your legs. u push to go forward and pull to brake.. that's it!! hahahaha.. but it's cool to go down the canal at full speed. kekeke..

We went to race after that.. haha.. goal carting!! (if that's how it's spelt.. am sure that u guys get me right??) It's something like the one back home in pasir ris in escape theme park.. u know.. the one where u drive and race down the ramp!1 lol.. it's about the same.. just that this one's round a small track.. didn't really feel satisfied with it.. but hey.. it was great fun.. haha..

And believe it or not.. I played golf.. yes.. golf.. totally not my sport k.. started of last with 9 shots for the first hole.. ya.. i know what you're thinking.. haha.. played 3 hours of that thanks to the big group we have and to my terrible skills.. kekekeke.. was a long sunny day.. Lol..

went for water games after that.. heheh.. first went for the 5m pool jump! never done that before eh?? heheh.. not as scary as i thought.. hahaha.. cos i did the jetty jump at pulau hantu before. lol.. think it's about the same height.. but somehow have the impression that the jetty jump was higher than that.. hmmm.. will have to check that out now.. but yea.. my heart was still at the top when i hit the pool.. and sure wasn't wise to wear a bikini.. lol.. at least i wasn't disorientated when i hit the pool.. else.. ermm.. wouldn't wanna breach that topic now.. =)

Didn't manage to get my work done before i went for that.. haha.. not very well done of me.. too holiday mood.. have to make up for that now.. Typing my weekly critique.. but am so brain dead.. but think it's not that much about what we write but to show the lecturer that we had our brains thinking.. had a lot of bull in the paper.. oh well.. gonna go hand it up now..

Nitrogen FREEZE

yup.. been quite a while since i last updated my blog again.. haha.. am more occupied during this sem.. much much more to do.. more to read.. more to write.. but at the same time, enjoying myself still!! heheh..

Been to a couple of events now.. Had a bbq on the 4th of march with the SSA. and it sure was a hot.. literally HOT day.. I mean.. i was only under the sun for 3 hours alright.. and i started to feel some pain on my shoulders in my 2nd hour under the sun. I was literally RED by the time i got back to my room and i suspected that am sun burnt even then! yea.. SUN BURNT! I got BURNT! started peeling after a few days and am still peeling at my shoulders.. other than that, I have a really odd tan! cos was wearing a sleevless top and went with my little sling bag across my left shoulder.. yup.. i have a white patch diagonally across the front of my chest.. along with my white straps on both shoulders.. 3 hours!! that's all the sydney sun needs to barbaque you!!

Mardi Gras was on the same day but didn't go for it.. haha.. think might go for it next year instead?? not really a "crowd" person.. just to see the parade and gays and lesbians.. hmm.. heard that my college friend, Eddie was hit on by a gay.. hahahaha.. sorry.. just can't stop myself from laughing when i think about it.. but hey.. that's for being good looking and fit yeah? LOL... another college girlfriend had to pose as his gf to save him.. heheh.. poor guy.. and the ironic thing was that they met that same man on another street with a hammer in his hand.. LOL..

Went for jose's dinner that night instead.. we had some really yummy food!! thanks jose!! heheh.. had curry chicken.. kang kong.. (err.. dunno how to spell..).. jose's balls.. (sounds quite wrong i know.. but that's what she calls her meat balls..) potato salad.. and ice cream!! hurr hurr hurr.. am trying to keep slim and fit but hey.. when chocs and ice cream's given to me, am gonna take it man.. lol.. so much for being determined not to have chocs here.. keke.. sorry we didn't finish the food though.. was a little too much.. =)

Yup.. am attending CCC now.. it really is far but it's worth it.. heheh.. haven't got the chance to meet pst phil face to face yet but think the chance will come.. heheh.. and apparently CHC is quite well known here. speaking to people knowing our church is just great.. heheh.. went for the first comers' welcome tea and met a couple more people. had tim tams.. haha.. and hey.. the art gallery they have is really beautiful.. forgot to take pictures of it.. hmmm.. maybe i should this week or something.. =)

Am proud to say that I have been quite consistent with my fitness classes.. hahaha.. and better still, my college has this deal with the gym!! thank goodness i didn't get the 3 month pass the last time i went.. Now i can extend my present pass with an extra 40% off!! LOL.. that's really great!!(><)

Had our first formal college dinner on last tues. Am actually soaking my right foot in warm salt water now.. haha.. thinking why am doing that?? hmm.. well.. that's cos i thought i have a blister on my right foot between my big and second toe back in singapore.. but nope.. it didn't go away and another started developing at the side of my big toe.. and nah.. it turned out not to be blisters but warts!! yup.. WARTS! had to see the doc.. went to get wart killers.. but didn't seem to be getting better after a week so i had to nitrogen freeze them.. OUCH!! it hurts alright.. have to do it again next week.. ain't really looking forward to that.. hmm.. and i have to soak my foot in salt water for 20 mins everyday till i see the doc again.. hai.. besides that.. i developed the same rash i had the last sem i was here.. ain't going back to sg soon.. so.. yeah.. had to get some medication.. spent about $130 on these already and there's more to come next week.. *gulp* i wanna save money...

looking on the bright side, am going to jamberoo this sun!!! yea!!! erm.. don't really know what's there yet.. haha.. heard there are water slides and other stuff to play.. a college outing.. heheh.. will try to finish my work by then eh??

Start of SchOoL!!

Yeah!! It's finally the start of school!! Haha.. kinda looking forward to it.. hmmm.. but ain't really very motivated to study now.. haha cos i didn't get to enjoy my 3 month break fully due to the geneds i took.. hmm.. but it was great fun.. kekekeke..

Only have 3 days of school this term.. mon to wed, 10 to 3.. heheh.. quite a nice time table really.. but won't be having one as nice next sem.. yes.. we have already enrolled and time table's already out for next sem in the second half of the year! lol.. lessons are very scattered for next sem.. but don't have much choice.. cos there's only one lecture for each of the modules that I'm gonna take.. oh well..

Quite proud of myself this term.. haha.. signed up with the school gym for fitness sessions. LOL!! it's like.. $33 for a month.. think should have gotten the 3 month one.. $76 i think.. but yet again.. i may not be as motivated after a month! keke.. yea.. just trying out the sessions they have available.. just went for pilates and body attack today. Pilates was quite alright.. but body attack.. hmmm... quite vigorous eh?? considering I haven't really been working out for quite a bit.. hahahaha.. It's a little like aerobics.. with music and coordinated moves.. hmmm.. kinda reminds me of acers day.. how sad is that??

Might be going for Mardi Gras tmr!! Haha.. It is supposed to be the parade of gays and lesbians. Should be quite interesting.. gonna be something like the chingay.. haha.. road blocks in the city and all..

Gonna head for CCC this Sunday!! WOOO!!!! quite far from my place.. but yea.. gonna give it a try.. hope i don't get lost.. *keep fingers crossed* heheh.. gonna be taking the bus then the ferry and another bus up north sydney.. Gotta get up at 7am just for the 10 am service!!! @@ yea.. but will definitely go.. haha.. think CCC's in a better flow with CHC as compared to Hillsong. =)

Touched Down!!

Finally back in Syd after a 7+ hour flight.. Didn't get enough rest on the way here.. the guy sitting in front of me lay all the way back and the lady behind me didn't allow me to lean back much.. so was cramped up.. not being able to cross my legs nor straighten them at all.. such an uncomfortable position.. was SO GLAD whan we touched down.. lol..

Managed to settle in quickly yesterday.. got my internet up and running within mins.. heheh.. one of the first things i did. unpacked and am comfortable now! though i still gotta get a pillow cos they scrapped the old ones.. surprisingly i brought quite a lot of clothes here.. haha.. didn't have to get my huge luggage which is stored in the store room.. till winter comes.. I shouldn't need to unpack the other bag. Since the other daily necessities were stored in the upper cupboard, really didn't need anything else.. except for toilet paper though.. kekeke..

Turned in really early yesterday after my bath.. slept till afternoon and continued to sleep all the way till the night.. haha.. such a pig.. but am feeling so much better now.. though am down with a slight flu.. saw the doc before I flew off on thurs.. so gonna take my med and sleep.. (again..) School's gonna start on monday.. feels so unreal.. lol.. k k.. better recover before then..

am finally going back to sydney!! wow.. it's so fast... 3 months gone just like that.. haha. will be flying off on thurs night, 23rd feb. flight's at 0020 i think. but will be checking in early for sure.. haha.. and will be arriving in syd friday morning.

am trying to fix my com now.. think there are just too many unuseful stuff in here and it's lagging my com.. gonna get another external hard drive to save all my songs and NECESSARY stuff then reformat the whold com.. can't take it anymore.. can't use mozilla firefox.. can't access my msn chat.. hmmm...

packed my bag already.. left with mini gritty things.. got meals packed up till thurs.. haha.. gonna stuff myself.. LOL!! but think am falling ill.. having a blocked nose and slight cough.. need to catch the doc before i leave. haha!!

Wisdom Tooth

Just on Monday, I accompanied Garvin to extract his left upper and lower wisdom teeth. Back then, I thought it's really funny cos he's not afraid of anything but the DENTIST!! (in this case, it was the oral surgeon) It was quite an experience.. Haha.. having gone through 2 minor surgeries before (one for my eye and another for my finger), I didn't mind witnessing a tooth extraction!

It was really weird how my bottom right tooth started to ache on sunday night. I told my mum but she said it was nothing.. think I was in a worse state than Garvin was after he extracted his tooth.. cos I'm experiencing pain while he's not!! Pain killers!! Such a great discovery!! LOL.. It was such a funny sight.. haha.. cos he was tilting his head and eating on the right while I was tilting my head and eating on the left.. tsk tsk..

I went to my dentist on wednesday to have a check. Thank goodness there was a slot! Mum called home to wake me at 1040 to tell me that I have an appointment at 1130! Madness!! Made it in time notheless.. haha.. Had a check and guess what? I had an infection! no wonder i was in such pain! what's more's that there's pus in the swollen gum on the right. I TOLD YOU I WAS TASTING SOMETHING!! having found out what it was, I sure was grossed out.. *puke* Had an x-ray taken too.. so much for bragging that none of my family members needed to extract their wisdom tooth.. I was soon notified that I have to extract ALL FOUR!!

Heading back to Mount E's oral surgeon, I handed the x-ray over and made an appointment with the doc for the next day. Arriving slightly before the appointed time, I started getting quite nervous.. thinking back on how it sounded when the surgeant broke Garvin's tooth.. brrr.... *shiver* OK.. back to the point.. having a close look at my x-ray, this is what went on: apparently my wisdom tooth was moving up.. that's what's causing the infection. at that point of time, I was given 2 choices.. either a temporary one, or a permenant one. the temporary one is to remove that gum that was swollen and covering half of my 2nd molar and the permenant suggestion was to remove the entire tooth! Hmm.. I was in a dilema.. didn't wanna just remove the gum.. that sounded quite gross.. think of the lump of pink that's gonna come out of your mouth.. then he went on to say that I can choose to remove one here or remove all 4 at the another hospital with the GA to put me to sleep.. hmmm... that would mean more waiting and more costing... either way, I had to remove that bottom right tooth!! and soon! cos I have to recover before going back to aust!

Called my dad on the spot to discuss the matter. Guess what?? there was NO DISCUSSION! All he said was: "Go remove it now." WHOA! I was in shock I tell you! He didn't even ask about the costing! Moreover, he came over straight away to settle the bill!! And I just found out on that day that HE HAD 2 OF HIS EXTRACTED 5/6 YEARS BACK!!! (so much for bragging and knowing my dad...)

My op took about an hour.. and the irony's that it turned out to be more complicated then Garvin's! so much for thinking that his is complicated cos his wisdom tooth was impacting the 2nd molar head on 90 degrees.. mine's worse! mine's not only growing 90 degrees sideways, it had to be the crown growing toward the inside of my mouth and the roots growing towards the cheek! Moreover my tooth is not out yet so they had to cut open the gum to locate it. That was the worst case scenario already! Heard that it was really quite deep.. Had my tooth broken into 5/6 pieces and my gum stitched.. The only fortunate thing's that the root had not fully formed! YEAH!! and it's so cool!! cos it was half formed and still soft.. keke.. got to see the tooth nerve too. interesting interesting.. heheh..

got pain killers and antibiotics.. but the pain killers didn't really seem to work.. quite in pain.. haha.. and the right cheek's swollen.. heheh.. Can't open my mouth fully.. couldn't talk a lot but am getting better now.. heheh.. also took a while for the bleeding to stop.. scheduled to remove the stitches on wed. =)

whoa.. besides that, think my parents can read my mind eh! was resting and sleeping friday through! set my alarm at 6pm so that I could get up and ready to go for cg.. Guess what!? My dad came knocking on my door even before that! cos he was leaving for cruise, he said in chinese: "Don't anyhow run arh! later your swell get bigger than you know." Though I nodded my head, was still planning to sneak out after he left. BUT just before I could get ready, MY MUM CALLED HOME!! then she said,"whoa, so guai arh at home." and I was like:"haha, ya loh!!" the she went,"told the maid to cook already or not" then i said,"NG". tsk tsk.. shouldn't have sounded a little hesitant.. GOT CAUGHT ARH!! the next thing you know, she was asking:"why? you want to liu already arh?" Being thick skin, I gave a straight YES!!!! that was it man... she say my face swollen till like that also dare go out?! then continued to say she on the way home already.. abandoned mahjong just to come home and pei me.. what can I say.....? what can I do.....? Begged her but the result was still no.. hai.. think my action just too slow arh.. oh well.. rest rest.. can't talk anywayz.. Got a little cousin's birthday BBQ tonight.. what's the point of going since I can't eat anyway? hai...

Yeah!! CNY has finally come!! Muahahaha.. Been pigging out at the various places.. Pineapples tarts' the best!!! heheh..

Come to think of it, never been to so many HOUSES in my life.. yeah.. Houses as in HOUSES. not HDB flats.. And kun rui.. been cheated man.. all along thought u stayed in a flat.. but arh.. tsk tsk.. just like paul said.. one day walk not enough.. must run arh.. hahahaha..

First day of CNY was as usual.. heheh.. went to grandparents places and babysitting the kids.. hai.. really getting old.. can't even last for a day..

2nd day's slightly more interesting.. went with my aunt to her friend's place to get to know her friend's neice cos she's going over to sydney.. sure hope that i can be of some help.. haha.. but come to think of it... how much do i know of sydney to help her?? been there for barely four months.. lol.. went to my grandaunt's place after that.. got to learn a new game called in-between.. heheh.. ok ok.. i know.. some of you guys already played the game for years.. and non of you introduced it to me!! hmph!! but it was great fun nontheless.. kekekeke... had steamboat at kunnie's after that.. come to think of it.. your mum has quite an accurate estimation huh.. the food's just about right.. didn't have much left overs. but then again, you still have extra regardless cos you've got others coming the next day right.. heheh.. oh well.. thanks loads for it anyways..

Garvin came over on the third day and we went over to his place after that.. travelled to his mum's boss's place at pierce road for a visit.. and wow... her place was huge man.. first time I've been into a house without having the need to remove my shoes.. tsk tsk.. nice pool.. nice cars... nice mansion!! been deceived by the old buildings on the main road.. impotant people live in the houses hiden deep inside.. hai.. wanna have a house like that too.. but think is think.. I can dream on...

Need to get back to reality now.. Need to complete my reports!!! Reality's just so harsh.. also need to study for the quizzes too.. Hai.. WORK!!! Easy to say not easy to do.. Bia-ing My Name is Kim Sam Soon!! Keke.. Hopeless...

January's been quite slow moving for me.. Been trying to study for the gened online but haven't been succeeding in that.. Haha.. Am looking for a job now.. Mum's gonna kill me.. close to zero in my bank account.. Lol.. but what job's available?? Ain't looking forward to doing outdoor sales or any of that sort.. Hai..

Just realized that my blue black ain't healing at my ankle.. It's been a month since thanksgiving and the lump is still there.. the one at the knee was gone till I slipped again.. LOL!! Think am just prone to getting blue blacks huh.. so funny.. cos it's at the exact same spot!! Gotta thank my bro for rubbing my bruises for me.. but making me talk at a high pitch while you're rubbing is not funny BROTHER!!

Am waiting for CNY to come.. hurr hurr hurr.. so exciting.. It's this SUN!! YEAH!!! still haven't gotten a bag.. but who cares.. haha.. will just make do with what i have.. Ok.. seems like I've been neglecting my blog.. Haha.. been a month since I last placed an entry.. hmmmm.. oh well... there are a couple of reasons... but oh well.. no excuses.. hahahaha.. hmmm.. let me just try to think what I've been up to... Lol..

Been working in the month of December for some allowance.. Haha.. cos back on hol.. then not studying.. so no pocket money.. Hai... such a sad thing.. but come to think of it.. I AM STILL studying!!! Am taking summer course online... maybe can start negotiating now.. hurr hurr hurrr..

Managed to meet up with loads of friends last month.. celebrate loads of birthdays.. especially cousins.. seems like majority of us are born at the end of the year.. oh well.. met up with char and pam to go CNY shopping.. haha.. though am already done with mine.. still went ahead just to meet up.. lol.. but it was really bad man.. I ended up buying more unnecessary stuff.. hai.. And we finally went to see Effe'd BABY!!!! Andrea's SOOOO CUUUTTTEEE!!!!!!! Buey tahan.. 3 months old only.. bought clothes for her.. haha.. and yeah.. think it's really too big.. but like we said.. should buy something bigger and let her grow into it instead of getting something small and her not being able to wear it at all.. lol.. hmmm.. but what's with the pink?? think we got too much of that..

Went out with Ying and Xueling for CNY shopping too.. Haha.. Since ain't buying any more clothes, started spending more on face care products and cosmetics.. Yup.. u saw it right... even I got a shock at how much I bought alright.. it's quite unbelievable if you know me well enough.. Other than those, I also bought quite a few accessories. Earrings.. necklaces.. rings... hmmm... wonder what's wrong with me.. Oh yes.. I finally bought my new year shoes too!!! ok.. not literally shoes.. more like slippers.. haha.. what's left now is a bag.. lol..

Went on a week's cruise with my family.. Haha.. eh.. not the whole week on the ship only k.. Had a trip to Phuket and Penang.. Nothing much there really.. but the prawn mee in penang is yummy!! All those going to Penang: TRY THE PRAWN MEE!!! Heheh.. ok.. that's making me hungry.. went to this new shopping mall in Phuket.. whoa.. I didn't know that there's auntie anne's in thailand.. but think the ones in Singapore are nicer.. hmmm..

Had a family christmas party on the 23rd.. bbq.. Lol.. had tonnes and tonnes of crab.. Huahuahuahuahh.. yum yum.. and know what.. just because I dressed down and walked in after my 5 year old cousin, Mason, my other cousin (Shawny)'s friend thought that I was Mason's mother.. how insulting was that....-_-'''

Spent Christmas eve out with Jamie, King Lit and Mark.. went to meet up with some of Jamie's friends at Altivo.. this place up at mount faber.. really quite a nice place.. haha.. can have a view of singapore and sentosa depending on where u sit.. had supper after that at newton.. haha.. sorry evan.. didn't manage to bring you.. lol.. next time stay longer lahz.. then sure will bring ya down.. kekekeke...

Our church has finally moved to EXPO!!! lol.. somehow.. it seems further than jurong west.. but I take the same amount of time to travel down... seems like I've been gone for quite a while.. hahaha.. the place is HUGE!! so many people.. plus there's fcbc.. always quite congested at the end of service.. but it's great fun! hahaha.. and the Christmas service was really enjoyable.. think the drama team did a great job! Heheh..

Had our zone thanksgiving on the 28th, wed night.. first time i sat in as one of the audience.. lol!! slipped that night on the way up to stage for games.. whoa.. didn't know that i was bleeding.. NO WONDER it hurt so bad... and it's not just one spot.. it's 2 spots.. really dunno how i fell.. got a big blue black on the knee and another round the wound on the shin close to my ankle.. yeah.. the ankle got slightly swollen as well.. still husts when i walk today.. considering if i need to go see the doc..

So fast... NEW YEAR ALREADY!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! wooohooo!!! spent new year's eve with my family.. heheh.. but met up with Cat, Nigel, Jose and Ivanna on New Year's day!! Finally!!! Been trying to get jose.. but that girl arh.. always MIA one.. flying around enjoying her holiday.. hai.. too much money to spare... lol.. were planning to go to indo this month.. but heard that it's postponed to feb.. now gotta think again arh.. haha.. gotta ask parents too.. loads of other considerations.. hmmm.. YEAH!!! Am finally home!!!!

Heheh.. been a week since i got back.. and have been doing nothing but eat and eat and eat.. feel like such a pig!! Haha...

Touched down late on saturday.. My flight was delayed for 2 hours.. So I reached home past 12.. Heheh.. First caught up with my bro, mum and Ying.. Did some unpacking and by the time i washed up and all, finally turned in at 7 in the morning.. Heheh.. Got up at 9 to get ready for church.. Lol.. Just back in time for Pst Phil Pringle.. So cool!!! After service stayed back a bit to fellowship. Heheh.. Was on the way home in the afternoon and met up with some Japanese guests in Orchard with Garvin. It was quite fun.. Haha.. Think my jap still cannot make it!! Heheh.. Went for family dinner after that. wow.. Long time since i had such good foooddd!!! Kekekeke.. YUMMY!!

Arranged to meet Evan on Monday.. However things didn't go as planned.. haaha.. cos my cousins came over the night before. were talking and all.. only slept at 7 in the morning again.. so much for trying to catch up with my sleep back home. Lol!!! Yeah.. so couldn't get up to meet him.. heheh.. but i did make up yea.. Invited him, Danieal and Andre over for dinner.. Lol.. Had a great time. Even went to watch Harry Potter after that.. Haha.. We were all so tired and falling asleep.. Knew that evan DID sleep during the show.. Lol.. He has to catch it again.. Haha.. Turned in at 3 that night..

Evan woke me at 11 on Wed.. Didn't know that it was 11 and promised to meet at 1145 orchard.. Hai.. Rushed my way there.. On a cab of course. heheh.. having combed orchard, we went on to suntec. Jamie met up with us there. heheh.. Walked quite a bit.. Getting tired easily.. getting old... haha.. Met up with Lydia and Jose at orchard to get to Lydia's place. Took a bus and got into a massive jam.. Rush hour.. So we had late dinner.. Haha.. But it sure was sumptous. Was craving for chilli crab. Never thought that i would be having it so soon.. Yup! There was chilli crab at dinner at Lydia's place! YUM YUM!! and black pepper crab too!! Huahuah.. We had too much food though.. and Jamie sabotaged me!!! was full already and didn't want anymore food.. but auntie was trying to clear the food.. yea.. and guess the rest of u know what happened next.. Nominees to finish the food.. I was one of them.. Hai...

Went for breakfast together on Wed. Haha.. wanted to meet at 8 for breakfast at killiney kopitiam. But.. people late lahz.. Lol.. Jamie came to pick me up in the morning. then we went over to pick Evan up and met up with Kunnie at his place to proceed to killiney together.. the luxury of a car.. huahuah.. evan and i went to have a look at jamie's place after that.. quite a nice place.. and finally met Jay Jay.. Lol.. such a big dog.. as compared to Keiko.. Hai.. Poor girl.. Kena bullied by all who saw her.. especially EVAN! Stop scaring my dog!!! Haha.. Had lunch at Serangoon Gardens that day.. Hmm.. Even I haven't been there before.. Think I ate too much.. Tummy wasn't well that day.. Evan had dinner at my place again. So did Leon.. Poor guy.. just had braces.. so couldn't have any solid food.. lol.. Ouch.. That wasn't really planned cos they only wanted to drop by to pass me my present.. haha.. a big banana.. and am supposed to bring it all the way to aust to take it as a sub for my bolster.. -_-" After going home for a change, Evan came by again to wait for Jamie with me.. Wanted to bring him to zouk cos he wanted to have a look at the place.. but by the time we were there the queue was too long.. 3 of us ended up going for supper at Geylang.. LOL!! Really cannot make it.. Had the famous beef kuey teow follwed by dou hua with you tiao, taiwan porridge, ciao long pao and the biscuit with pork floss inside.. tsk tsk.. we were eating as though we were competing to see who can eat the most.. Hai..

Slept late again that night.. Managed to get more sleep on thurs morning.. sadly, it's the day that the indos were leaving.. Jamie picked me up to go pick Evan and head to the airport.. Daniela and Andre already left earlier in the day.. Evan managed to try the mushroom swiss at the airport.. haha.. had to share one with Jamie cos we were still quite full from supper and it was close to dinner time. Promised to have dinner with my mum and bro to "celebrate" my birthday.. Heheh.. Oh.. we even managed to welcome Fonz back.. Lol.. cos he touched down right before Evan's flight off.. haha.. at the same terminal some more.. so funny..

Started the day slow on fri.. MY BIRTHDAY!! lol.. was supposed to meet Ivanna at 12 at Orchard. But I got up late!! Thank goodness Jamie was driving.. Lol.. Felt quite bad asking him to come pick me.. haha.. but i couldn't make it already.. lol... had a tough time deciding on what we wanna have for lunch.. ended up going for seoul garden.. keke.. didn't managed to meet fonz.. thought he was still sleeping cos he didn't answer our msgs.. haha.. but it turned out that he was actually early but forgot to bring his phone out.. Lol.. went all the way home to get it and managed to join us after that.. haha.. so it was just the four of us.. lydia, kun and jose couldn't make it.. heheh.. was ok..=) Rested at home in the afternoon.. and headed for cell group after that. haha.. Had a little celebration after that.. heheh.. hit the big 2-0.. hai.. but not bad.. people still thought i was turning 19.. HOhoho.. and a cousin of mine thought i'm 16... -_-'''.. k.. that's a bit off...

Yeah!! I'm finally done with my exams!! Hahahaha.. Just finished my jap paper today. Never studied for it. Worse still.. I didn't know the format of the paper till today! Lol.. 105 MCQs. Haha.. More than CMI.. Didn't expect that to come...

Went to the city today to do last minute shopping. Have a small luggage of my own stuff and another bag of food.. Haha.. Sorry guys.. No Krispy Kremes this time round. No more cash already..

Tonight we'll be celebrationg Han's birthday!! Lol.. Too bad not everyone's gonna make it cos most of them have their final paper tmr morning.. Think tmr I won't be able to go out with the girls already.. the most I can do is to sight-see and window shop.. Hahahha...

Been packing up my stuff recently.. Well.. actually.. it ain't that recent too.. I've already had my luggage ready 2 weeks back.. Shows how eager I am to get home huh.. kekekeke.. Now am only left with some clothes and toiletries and (of course) my laptop to pack..

Gonna be flying off this saturday 26th Nov at 1700hrs. Taking QF5, ETA 2140!!! Ying must come fetch me k.. else no prezzies. Huahuahuah.....

Time flies by so quickly... I have 2 more papers and I'd be home bound!!! Holiday here I come!! Feel so excited already.. Huahuahuah...

My first paper was Macroeconomics.. Think it wasn't too bad.. Knew what to write and stuff. But the thing is.. NOT ENOUGH TIME... Guess it's nothing new for econs huh... Haha.. Feel quite bad about it.. the paper's 60% of the overall. and paper's over 60 marks. each unanswered question's equivalent to a deduction from your overall.. Not fun at all....

The 2nd paper was Finance. 75 MCQs! Thought that was easy enough. But guess what? the answers to each question had to be so similar..

Oct and Nov has been months of birthday celebrations! Last night we were celebrating Jamie's birthday.. Lol.. Distrupting his beauty sleep at 12am.. Was really tired cos I have been studying for the upcoming papers starting on Monday.. but it was no harm having fun.. Kekekeke.. we girls got him a blue hippo cos that hippo kinda look like him. Haha.. other than that, we also got him a teddy which is named jamie junior, diet coke cos the girls thought that he was going on a diet (don't know if that's true...) and a small box of chocolate. Cos the mini celebration was held in his room, the guys were left to stand outside. HAH! Wasn't enough space to fit all of us...

Been deprived of sleep for this entire week.. Been studying and besides that, was kinda facinated with the magic cube. think the actual name is called the rubik cube?? hmm.. I don't know.. Haha.. chanced upon it in Andre's room and "borrowed" it.. Big mistake.. Cos I spent hours upon hours trying to form the "perfect" cube.. so when I wasn't studying, I was trying to fix the cube.. so tiring.. Haha.. In the end the max I could get was 3 complete sides with only the top row of the other 3 being mixed up.. Was getting the hang of it after a while.. Lol..

Snacking's the other activity we have.. haha.. ran out of snacks already.. gotta do some grocery shopping today to top up our snack supply.. Lol.. else will be really hungry in the middle of the night while we're studying.. this is only gonna last for 2 weeks.. After that.. AM HOME BOUND!! come to think of it, it'll be less than 2 weeks before I get on the plane back home.. Haha.. Am so looking forward to it. Gotta start planning and packing what I wanna bring back now.. Else it'd be so rush. Keke.. At the meantime gonna hit the sack.. Dunno if i'm actually typing logically and making any sense at all... This weekend was pretty fun. With the session coming to an end and exams coming up, a cocktail party was held at college and we were required to dress up.. It started off with a video of life in Shalom in the past semester. Sure were a lot of funny footages.. Followed by a time of refreshments and dancing. Haha.. There's always joel with his concoctions and loads of funnny actions taken by people who were worn down by the party.. Keke.. Like jose, kath and jamie dancing in a merry-go-round.. Yes Jose.. like u said.. Think you guys really enjoyed that but will think that it's real stupid come the morning.. Haha.. But there's no turning back now.. Kekekeke..

We turned in early in the morning of helping to clean up the common room. Wonder what they did to the wall of pictures.. It was really very nicely done up. With pictures of events held throughout the year.. Would have been a waste to throw them all away.. But it's not like there's a place for us to keep all of them.. Oh well..

It was a really small ceremony at Giovanni's, an italian restaurant down the road from college. Some people coulden't make it due to clashes of events and other birthday celebrations as well. Didn't go for Leon's 21st.. Up North Syd.. SO SORRY!! But I can't split myself.. So.. yeah.. Haha.. and there was Ressoc dinner as well..

Next week's gonna be study week.. People've started studying since the beginning of this week.. And I haven't really started yet.. Hai.. Typing up my blog some more.. Lol... Macroecon's gonna be my first paper... Not my strongest subject arh.. Even back in poly.. It's gonna be on the 14th and my last paper's gonna be on the 24th. Think will start packing up my room soon so that I won't have to do it the entire day on the 25th..

Next weekend's gonna be Jamie's birthday.. So much for telling me that your birthday's on 29th Feb!! There's something called the Shalom Monthly bulletin where upcoming birthdays are listed! >< Got back at him after the party last night.. Lol.. When he asked when's my birthday I told him the same thing and he got duped.. Haha.. Not that I can help it.. Haven't decided what we're gonna get him yet. We'll see.. Cash's running out.. =p

Motor Show...

Been to a motor show recently.. Haha.. Went for it on Friday with a couple of friends.. Wow.. Been there for a full 4 hours.. Can't get over the cars... ARGH!!!

The day started a little late.. Cos all of us couldn't get up. Hahaha.. There were 4 of us and we left college at 12 plus.. We couldn't make up our minds as to what we should have so we settled for pizza hut.. Think we were a little outta our minds.. 4 people.. and we ordered 4 LARGE PIZZAS.. 2 stuffed crust and 2 normal pan pizzas.. Stuffed ourselves we did.. Haha.. And the funny thing was, despite being the only girl, I ate the most.. Hmmm... Guess Evan was right grouping me as "one of the guys" eh?

We arrived at the venue at 2+ I think.. it was quite empty at that time.. Haha.. We could just sit in the cars and not get out too soon.. Keke.. Truely enjoyed ourselves.. Cos there were SO MANY nice cars... Lol.. And they really seem cheap here.. argh... If only it were so in Singapore.. Wouldn't mind owning one here.. keke.. But staying on campus.. So impractical.. Hai...

By the end of the day.. I've decided what I want for my first car.. I WANT A RX-8!!! I CAN'T get over it!! (dreamt that my dad got it for me that night.. kekeke..) my 2nd choice is the C230 sports coupe and my 3rd is the SLK and SL-Class roadsters.. Heheh.. Progressively getting more and more expensive.. Huahuah.. Means that am still quite realistic.. Lol!!

Think I seriously need to catch up on my sleep. Not only that, I need to sleep at NORMAL hours.. Hahahaha...

Didn't do much this week.. Only important thing was to type out the report of the presentation that I had on Monday. Really wanted to finish it earlier.. Just that I didn't have the mood to type it all out.. Haha.. And when I finally did have the mood, was typing up to 5 pages already and pass the 1200 mark.. Then I decided to take a break.. And I suddenly realized that I didn't check the word limit.. Guess what.. the word limit's 500 WORDS! I was like.. ARGH!!!! WHY DIDN'T I CHECK IT EARLIER?? Too late.. Had to edit the entire report.. And I wasn't even halfway through.. Hmmm...

Am moving on to my third week of school in my second term now.. Need to start studying for a quiz coming up on Friday.. Feel so unprepared.. I seriously do not know how to do the questions.. Need to MUG!! 3 more weeks of school and the study break will be here! Huahuah.. Sounds as if I'm welcoming the final exams. Tsk tsk.. In a way.. I am!! Haha.. Then I'll be on my way home soon...

Yeah! Fnally I got it all sorted out.. And it's finally confirmed! I'm going home on the 26TH of NOV!! YEAH!! haha.. And no.. of course I'm not mad enough to pay the $1575 to change my ticket! My mum did it for me through the travel agent who first issued my ticket. At the cost of $230. Well.. at least that's in Singapore dollars.. Better than A$1575.. That's total madness..

Haven't been getting enough rest again.. That's for starting school.. Haha.. a presentation and an assignment due this week.. Had the presentation on Monday.. Didn't know what I was saying.. Cos I didn't sleep the previous night preparing for it.. And was so last minute for that presentation cos was doing up the report for the assignment which is due tmr.. Didn't sleep last night cos of it too.. hmmm.. Come to think of it.. My biological clock never went back to normal even after my mid-sem papers.. Anyway, gonna be having quizzes and tests again starting next week.. Another 3 weeks of school and I'll be having my study break.. then... FINAL PAPERS!! Gonna be starting on 14th nov and ending on 24th. 2 weeks.. heheh.. and the papers are pretty spaced out.. gotta start bucking up now.. getting too slack.. haven't been doing tuts.. Lol..

The Rest of The Week..

The rest of the week was pretty relaxing.. Heheh.. Tian came down from Melbourne. Met up with her on Friday along with Clara and Debra who happened to fly in on that day.. Had dinner at a jap restaurant called Ju Ju's haha.. We did eat A LOT.. Man, were we stuffed..

On Saturday Xue Ling came down from New Castle.. Lol.. Cousins united!! The only missing cousin is YING!! (Poor girl..) Had to wait for them for a really LONG time though.. the traffic jam they claim. Lol.. But it wasn't too bad. Was meeting them at an ice cream cafe at Darling Harbour and it so happened that there was this Fiesta thing going on.. There was salsa performance and many others.. Great music and stuff.. Heheh.. Had a girls' night out. Heheh.. Met up with a couple of Tian's friends as well.. Cool..

The rest of the hols was spent in my room.. Aiming to finish a serial. HA! Hermit! And school's started again.. Assignments due and quizzes coming up!! Presentation.. Loads to do again.. 4 more weeks and finals will be here.. Sigh..

Have been trying to change my ticket to get home before my birthday.. But am encountering some problems here.. Called up Qantas to change my ticket. And the thing is.. there is a $175 charge for change of flight. But to be able to make that change, I am required to upgrade the ticket and that costs another $1400! All in Aus dollars! This is MADNESS!! So am still stuck with 5th Dec for now. Am trying to see if I can change it through the travel agent back in Singapore.. I WANNA GET HOME EARLY!!!

wow.. been a really long time since my last entry huh.. oh well.. Have been busy catching up with work now that school has started once again. Haha..

Last week was my on week break.. Really enjoyed myself. And it was the first time I went on a holiday with friends.. Lol.. No family members.. Was great fun.. Hahahaha.. As some of you already know, I went to Gold Coast for 4 days with a couple of my college friends. Spent the first day at movie world. Ever been there once like.. 3 years ago? Haha.. Back then it was just before the start of poly.. Heheh.. Now I feel old.. Anyway, there were really quite a few changes to the place. The Scooby Doo ride that was under construction back then is now open.. Hahahaha.. Roller coasters are just so fun. They're building another one now.. Called superman. the track goes all the way up then almost straight down perpendicular to the ground. But it opens at the end of the year.. Man...

Wet wet wild conquered.. We all went for it THRICE! Each time striking a different pose for the camera on we're heading down the slope to the splash.

A word of advice for those who wanna try this ride:
If you don't want to get wet during the ride, sit in the middle. The person who gets drenched is the one AT THE LAST SEAT!! BEWARE!!

All of us went back to take a shower and hurried off to have dinner after that.. Heheh.. Cos all of us didn't really have anything while we were in movie world. We ended up having pizza hut.. So funny.. Had 10 slices of pizza by myself.. Plus a large bowl of ice cream, drinks and garlic bread.. Lol.. Such a greedy pig..

After dinner we had a walk at Ripley's Believe it or Not. Saw really interesting stuff inside.. I found it how amazing how one could write the Lord's Prayer on a grain of rice.. Yup.. the entire prayer alright.. A real eye opener..

Turned in early that night too.. cos all of us couldn't sleep the night before. Plus a full day of activities.. Zzzz..

Day 2

Morning of the 2nd day.. Cheech, Andre, Edmond and Kunnie all set and ready to go! Hahaha..

At the start of the day when we all got to Dream world, the whole group of us went for a couple of thrill rides first. Haha.. After that, Fonz, Evan and I went to Reef Diver and Vortex. The rest couldn't really take giddy rides after some of the high thrill rides.. Vortex was a ride where everyone is standing with their backs aganst the wall and the machine spins with such high speed that u can start climbing on the wall behind you and flip up-side-down with out any support. the theory behind it is that of how when u swing a pail of water fast enough, the water doesn't spill out even when it was up-side-down. Yup.. Quite cool.. but felt really sick after that.. Hahahaha.. Took a break after that.. Was quite surprised that I could still stomache my lunch.. Keke..
Evan, Edmond and I took the Giant Drop next.. Haha.. At the beginning of the day all of us set out to take this ride. the seat brings you all the way up and stays there for 30 seconds before a free fall down..

Was really funny.. cos our hands really ran cold as our turn got closer. And while we were at the top, we were shivering in our seats! Lol...

The final ride all of us went for together was the tower of terror.. it is also up the same tower as the Giant Drop. This ride was only 25 seconds.. it moves at 156km/h up 3/4 of the tower, suspends a bit and goes as quickly back down. Sorta like a catapult effect.. COOL!

We had seafood for dinner on the second day.. After that only a couple of us went for a walk on the beach.

Day 3 was free and easy for us.

Jose and I got ready to go for a TAN!

The others went looking round surfers' paradise.

We went shopping in the afternoon for groceries. Cooked our own dinner that night.. Beef, Chicken, Garlic bread, Bacon and rice. Yummy...

This is day 4.. our last day.. We decided to walk 1km all the way to a sports warehouse!! Quite disappointing.. Hai.. But it was great fun.. A lot random pics of us walking.. Haha..

Yeah!!! Am finally done with my papers!! Hahaha.. So happy!! Gonna have another week of school before I finally get my one week break.. Lol.. Am trying really hard to turn my bioclock back to normal now.. Haha.. was attempting to sleep early after the last paper on fri.. ended up flipping and flopping in bed.. and watching serials to finally fall asleep at 8am! Really terrible.. Hai..

Heheh..Am so looking forward to the one week break! Am gonna be going to Gold Coast with a group of college friends. AND MY COUSIN'S COMING!!! Lol.. OOOOO!!! AND MY GUITAR'S COMING TMR!!! YEAH... So happy! Hahaha! Till then gonna be slacking loads.. but after the one week break school pace's gonna pick up.. And before I know it, I'll be home!! Lol.. OK.. Am thinking a little far off now. Wow.. Been a long time since I upadated my blog.. Haha.. Yeah.. Am still currently in the midst of having my mid-sem exams.. Been a week already and it feels like my friend and I am stressing each other out.. Haha.. Have really been studying much harder here.. My clock's turned over.. Am up by night and asleep during the day.. Heheh.. Sleeping at 6am and waking at 8am for classes.. Sometimes I just do not sleep till after classes to get back for a nap.. Man.. It's becoming a habit.. Halfway through the night I'll look at the clock and think: "oh.. it's only 4am. Still got 2 more hours to 6.." Each time before I sleep the sun has already risen.. Hmmm.. 2 more papers this friday.. Hopefully I'll be able to return back to normal after that.. Haha..

Recently I've picked up table tennis.. Heheh.. My new activity to take a break from studying.. Haha.. Cos my guitar ain't here yet. BUT IT'S ON THE WAY!! CAT!! AM WAITING FOR YOU!!! Lol.. Yeah.. Doesn't mean that gonna stop table tennis once my guitar gets here.. Hoho.. It's really fun.. Table tennis at 2am.. Driving myself nuts.. Lol..

Quizzes, Tests & Exams

Weeks ahead are gonna be rather gloomy now.. everyone's studying much much much harder.. Haha.. Simply because mid-sem exams are coming..

Couldn't sleep last night.. I wonder why.. Was looking at the clock.. 3am.. 5am.. 6am.. 8am.. Time to wake up... Had a quiz, a test and a presentation today.. Can't believe that I was so stressed.. the quiz is like.. only 5% of the overall. But because half the cohort failed in the previous semester, nobody dared to take the 5% lightly.. including me.. A friend of mine was practically practising on every single question in the textbook..

Next up was Jap oral.. Think I did pretty well.. Stumbled just only once.. Funny thing was that the teacher didn't even know that I was done! Hmm.. But the question asked regarding the passage did put me on the spot.. Took me quite a while to answer it.. Think I didn't do well for that section.. Oh well..

My presentation today was on money markets.. Tricky.. cos we had to link what we learnt in class to a newspaper article that we cut out.. There was so much to cover in so little time.. 5 mins for 5 speakers!! Yeah.. Of course we went over the limit! But it didn't really make much of a difference.. Haha.. As in the teacher didn't mark us down for it.. All other groups did it as well... Lol..

Other than that, I still got another jap written test tmr.. Gonna be 20%.. Will be studying the chinese characters required.. Feel like I'm lagging.. Cos everyone else moved up from a previous level from last sem.. And I do not know what the school covered last semester.. Better catch up...

Next week will be the start of my first mid-semester exam.. Capital Markets will be first. Loads to read, interpret and digest.. Argh... Gonna have two other papers in the week after.. One of it is Macroecons.. Not my strongest subject.. hmmm.. Moreover it's gonna be based on Australia's economy.. Will be busy studying.. Feels as though there's so much to do and so little time to accomplish them.. Hmmm.. But looking on the bright side, it's just chapters in a textbook that I have to read.. Lol... I need sleep...

Final Dive. SHARK EGG!!!

Woohoo!! Went for my final open water dives. Haha.. Was really fruitful today.. Got to see loads more stuff as compared to the previous dive. And yeah.. It was much better cos the water's warming up as well.. Hehehe...

The most interesting is the blue groper and the port jackson shark on the first dive. The blue groper is about 30cm long i think.. Haha.. Quite a big fish.. and rather cute too.. heheh.. It sorta cheats your feelings in the sense that it'd stay at spot close enough for u to reach out to touch it.. When you hand is about 1cm away from it, it suddenly swims away and happily go round and round you.. Oh my.. that was really funny.. Haha.. Having given up on trying to touch it, it followed right behind me as i continued diving the area! After that, I saw a port jackson shark.. Haha.. Don't worry.. By seeing the word "shark" it really doesn't mean that I came anywhere close to danger.. It was a distance away from us lying on the bed of the sea.. Heheh.. And got up to swim away oppsite our direction really quickly as we were approaching. Moreover it was a baby shark.. Lol.. I didn't even recognise it as a shark to be honest.. I thought that it was some brown fish!

The second dive was just as interesting.. I first came across what i thought was a really big shell.. it's kinda like the spiral shells u see on the back of hermit crabs.. Just that this one was huge! I picked it up.. Having a good look at it.. Searching for the enterance of the "shell".. thought that it was pretty and even wanted to take it up shore to keep it as a souvenir... Thank goodness I DIDN'T.. Cos after the dive the instructor was telling me that I WAS HOLDING ON TO A SHARK EGG!! I was like.. shark egg... The information sure took it's time to register.. I could just imagine the reaction I'd get from my parents when they hear of it... Other than that, I saw a weedy seadragon.. Haha.. It really looked like a seaweed from afar, but as I went closer to it, I realised that it actually had some blue on it.. Really pretty.. Heheh.. Also managed to hold a star fish.. Heheh.. It was stuck under an overhanging rock.. Haha.. Sucked onto the rock it did.. Heheh.. Was cool.. Close to it was a sea urchin.. Went to poke it's pines to disturb it a bit.. Lol.. It was also really fun to see the sea worm recoil into it's hole in the rock when you touch it.. Haha.. And on the rocks we could also find nice bright coloured sea slugs.. Lol.. I know some of you are grossing out at the thought of slugs.. Hahaha.. But they really are very beautiful to look at.. bright blue, bright yellow, bright orange etc etc etc.. Oh oh.. and there was also the sea pin.. sorta like a snake-like creature which buries its whole body unber the sand and have only it's head which looks like sea worms up in the open..

Enjoyed myself I did.. Heheh.. Was quite a great adventure I would say.. Hahaha.. Still got a floaty feeling.. Am drinking loads of water to make sure that am gonna be well... Haha..

IT WASN'T ME!!

Yeah!! I'VE FOUND MY KEY!! Muahahahahaha.. And it wasn't me who lost it.. Lol.. I remembered very clearly that I had it all the way till I got back to my room after putting my laundry in the wash.. Haha.. OK.. For you guys.. Here's the story..

Yesterday, quite a couple of things happened.. First, something was wrong with my com and I couldn't quite fix it.. One moment I was typing and chatting and doing my usual stuff.. and the next moment my com just blacked out on me and there was this error msg displayed for a few seconds I couldn't even catch what it was.. The rest of the time it was just a black screen but the com was still running.. Didn't know what it was, I switched off the power point to cut off the power supply to off the com and switched it back on.. When my com started to run again, the screen flickered before a pop-up appeared asking for my password instead of the normal blue screen.. When it finally got started, there was another pop-up saying microsoft error something and send report. Curious to find out what exactly was wrong.. I sent a report. And surprisingly, another window opened to address the issue. It was from microsoft online crash analysis.. And I was stunned for a split second.. I was like.. My com's crashing!! And I seriously haven't done anyhting at all... It stated that it was an error caused my device driver.. (I don't know what is that..) So, being helpless over the situation, I got an in-house tutor who's apparently good with IT to come help me fix it..

I managed to get him after dinner.. And the two of us were trying to get the problem fixed.. (or rather, he's trying to get it fixed and I was watching at the side..) Besides the flickering thing when i signed in, I also couldn't get my msn to automatically sign in as usual as I change my password across the system.. There we were.. trying so hard to get into the user accounts from the control panel... And guess what?? WE COULDN'T GET IN! Couldn't access it and open it in another window. A pop-up appeared saying that microsoft is closing the window for security reasons and the both of us were like.. what the.. what is going on??? So we tried and we tried and we still couldn't get in.. The tutor was using the "run" thingy and trying out all other possible ways (which i am apparently quite ignorant of..) to get to the user accounts window but we just couldn't.. I was thinking that my com's quite gone now.. We tried restarting the com over and over again and we still got the black screen with the pop-up sign in plus we still couldn't get into user accounts.. Hai.. When we thought it was really bad enough, the fire alarm went off and we evacuated the building..

It wasn't a fire drill as we already had one last last week (I think..) Heard that someone tripped the alarm accidentally.. The key was obviously still with me as I managed to get back to my room after the normal procedures. When I got back, took a shower and sent my laundry to the wash and stayed in the room the rest of the evening. Thinking that my com's quite screwed, I thought I'd give the user accounts thing another shot. To my surprise, when I clicked on the icon, it managed to open up and the microsoft thing didn't appear!!! WOOHOO!! Excited, I called the tutor up to come over again! And while he was fixing the com, I was on the line. Heheh.. And WOW.. He mananged to get the prob fixed after a few minutes!! A true IT expert.. Lol... Hahahaha.. After I hung up, I wanted to get some water and of course, collect my laundry. As I was about to leave my room.. I looked at my table in search for my key.. And.. Was DEVASTATED when I COULDN'T FIND IT!! I was like.. oh great.. Gotta get tutors to open door for me again.. (as per the previous entry..) searched high and low but in vain.. Went out and prevented my door from closing by placing my slipper there.. Met my friend and kana "suan-ed".. Hai.. Was thinking again and again and was very sure that I had it even after sending the clothes to the wash.. So.. it occured to me that MAYBE the tutor who came to fix my com might have taken it by mistake! Ah.. There was hope!! Heheheh.. (So I thought..) Immediately I msned him to ask if he saw my key and he said,"ya.. the blue tag one right? Saw it. Even played with it." Reading that, I asked if he had taken it by mistake but he said not.. Requesting for a double check, he did it and still.. Said he didn't have it.. Dissappointed, I still went to collect my clothes and packed them neatly.. In the end thought it might be cos am not well so I turned in and decided to look for my key in the morning instead.

This morning after I got up, did the normal thing which was to run a search in my room again but to no avail.. Went for breakfast and had to borrow a master key form the office to get back into my room.. Hai.. After that, thinking that I've packed all that I needed for the entire day so that I won't have to come back before I was done, I left my room for school! Sadly, I HAVE been forgetful.. I forgot a really important receipt needed for a claim.. So when my lunch break came, I came back to college and wanted to look for the tutor who fixed my com to open my door since he knew of my situation and borrowing the key from the office would cause the staff to be suspicious of me.. Approaching him at the dining table, he went," eh eh... Kayn Kayn Kayn!!" With THAT statement, I KNEW THAT HE WAS GUILTY!! True enough, HE REACHED INTO HIS POCKET AND TOOK OUT MY KEYS!!! I KNEW IT!!! JUST AS I THOUGHT!! Thought that he put it into his pocket in his haste to fix the com after I logged in for him! Saved my $35 for key replacement!! Oh my goodness.. Hahahaha.. Thank God! Lol.. Really been a long day... But am really glad that I got my key back!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HOORAY!!!

Forgetful me...

Oh my.. It's been another week of school and really... what a week it's been.. Have been feeling a little funny.. Think it's the flu.. Everybody's getting it.. Gotta be extra careful now.. Drink more water, have less junk food etc.. Hmmm...

Have been super blur throughout the entire week... Been locking myself out... Hai.. Kept forgetting my key when I go out.. Even the few steps to get water.. the wind HAS to blow the door shut.. Had to get the tutors to open the door for me.. Thanks guys.. Was embarrassing.. But yeah.. Still had to get back to the room.. Hahahaha..

It's worse now.. Haven't locked myself out.. But I've LOST MY KEY!!! A moment it was on the table.. And the next, it's gone! I seriously have no idea where it is.. A friend was going: "whoa.. tired of locking yourself out so lost your key instead arh?" Hmmm... Searched the table, the dustbin, the toilet, the chair, the floor.. EVERYWHERE!! But still no sign of it.. If this goes on.. Gotta report to the office.. Hope it doesn't cost much.. My my... Where is my key???

Yeah!!! I passed my Scuba Theory!! Woohoo!! 50 MCQs.. 80% pass mark.. I made it!! (Doesn't mean that I only got 80 k..) Hahaha.. Means that I'll be able to get my license soon. Heheheheh.. Hmm.. Friends been talking about underwater club, night dives etc.. Just really dunno where to start.. Haha.. That's my class above.. Heheh.. Heard that we're one of the better and faster learners.. Haha.. Good progress.. One week was all we took.. Yet assured that we are really proficient enough.. Cool! We've graduated!! Yeah!! Ok.. Hmm.. Think I'm getting slightly over the head.. Lol.. Oh well.. Gonna be missing the class and the people.. Haha.. Especially Richard and Kristin cos they ain't from college... But no worries.. Think there would be trips which we can make together. Haha.. Yeah!! Finally went diving in the sea.. It was 15 degrees.. haha.. Yeah..It's cold.. But I didn't feel the cold when I got in the water. The wet suit really helps.. =) Moreoever I had an extra vest and hood plus gloves.. Enjoyed myself thoroughly.. Heheh.. We dived at a place called Bare Island ( Dunno why...), La Perouse, a spot where mission impossible 2 was filmed.. Very nice spot. Heard stories about the filming.. Haha.. Heard that trees were planted at the spot where I was standing so that they could have a "forest" for the movie and was later removed cos it's originally bare.. Haha.. The fort that's blocked at the back is where Tom Cruise fought the bad guy.. Hmmm.. I think.. (sorry.. Can't really remember what the movie was about.. LOL.. Been a long time since I watched it...) Ah well.. If I do remember or re-watch the movie anytime soon I'll clarify that bit ya.. Haha.. We had two dives. One in the morning and another after lunch. We packed our food from the nearby shop and had our meal in the open area.. It was like a little picnic.. Haha.. And I got to lie on the ground and just enjoy the sun and wind.. The only time I felt cold was when I removed the top bit of the wet suit to get into something dry.. And of course when I removed the bottom bit to get into my jeans.. Haha.. The winds picked up by the time we were done.. Still feeling floaty as I'm typing this.. Think I got a little sea sick.. Haha.. Ain't sure.. Hmm.. But gonna rest a bit already.. *yawn*...

SCUBA!!

Yeah.. As some of you know... I took up scuba diving lessons!!! So exciting.. Hahaha.. Finally got the time to do it.. Feel that the price and the conditions are reasonable. Heheh.. The standard is 4 theory, 2 pool sessions and 2 sea dives. Besides that, based on your own progress, you can have extra lessons till you're truly comfortable.

Had 2 theory lessons already.. Feel like I've been overloaded.. Haha.. So many things to remember.. But am catching up.. Haha.. Also had 2 pool sessions already.. Trust me..It's really tiring.. The weight of the tank, buoyancy compensator and weights on my waist.. Boy.. It's no joke.. A friend of mine was telling me that the weight which I carry to dive is actually almost the same as field packs which guys carry in army to MARCH 8 KILOMETRES??? My goodness.. Thank God I don't have to go to the army.. Can imagine myself growing shorter each day that I carry THAT heavy load.. Haven't been to sea yet.. Haha.. Heard that it's freezing cold.. It's winter! What was I thinking... Can't back out now.. Hahaha.. Wanna go see seahorses yet reluctant at the same time.. Lol.. Really don't feel like freezing myself.. Oh well...

During the first pool session, I really wasn't all that comfortable and used to breathing through my mouth. Think I can safely say that it's the day when I drank the most amount of pool water.. Haha.. Cos we had to do this exercise whereby we had to fill our masks (which covers our eyes) with water by letting water in through the top and clearing the water from the mask by opening the bottom just a wee bit and blow bubbles through our noses. The moment the mask is not under my nose, I tend to just breathe in through it and not through my mouth with the regulator. BIG MISTAKE... DRANK LOADS OF CHLORINE.. It's really quite surprising that I was still calm under those circumstances. Come to think of it.. I could have just blown out all the water and got above the surface..

The second session was much better. I was used to breathing through my mouth and was doing pretty well.. (I think.. Heheh..) Finished up the rest of the exercises.. YEAH! And gonna go dive in the sea over the weekend. Haha.. Am bracing myself for the icy wind.. The cold water.. The weight that's gonna be on my already aching body.. But.. Am sure that am gonna enjoy myself.. Lol.. Just hope that I don't get sick.. Muahahaha..

College Life!

OK.. It's been long and people have been asking me to update my blog.. Hahaha.. But nothing much has really happened though. But I did find out that college is fun. Heheh.. There are loads of people of different nationalities here. It's been pretty easy settling in here and I've made lots of friends. =)

In college, everone's connected to the college network. The good thing is that you get to access the files in your friends' coms. (That is.. whatever they've put up to share..) And believe me.. There are loads of good stuff here. As my internet is controlled by the university and it's charged by the amount that we download, it sure is a relief that I could find all the useful stuff on most computer expert's shared folders.. Like spybot, firefox etc.. Other than that, we've also got entertainment like Desperate Housewives, TVB serials and loads more.. Haha.. So.. Yea..We're pretty much self sufficient here.. Lol..

Besides that, college has loads of activities.. Heheh.. One of it includes a party with the theme: pirate. It was really fun when you actually see people dressing up for such small get togethers and have a good time together taking pictures and all.. Besides that we also have an "Assassin" game. Everyone in college is being assigned a target who we were supposed to get rid of. The rule is that when the assasination takes place, no other witnesses are supposed to be around. This game started on tues 8am. As usual, I got up early and suddenly everyone's moving much faster scurrying from one place to another when they're alone, hoping that their assassin is not close enough to kill them. Haha.. When it came to the afternoon and evening, you'll start seeing people miving around in pairs so that the assassin would not be able to nail them. It sure was a sight.. And the game goes on..

1st week of School..

It's already been a week of school.. Everybody's been asking how it was.. And seriously.. I can't tell yet.. Haha.. It's only been a week of lectures and no tutorials.. It's fun.. But the work load has yet to come in and pile up.. Lol.. When it comes, guess i won't say that it's fun anymore. Heheh..
First week of school is always fun.. It's always filled with orientation activities and etc.. Reality hasn't kicked in. Haha.. Still on a holiday mood.. Better buck up and gear up to study already..

People basically wake up late here. No idea why.. But i seem to be the only one who's been able to wake up in the morning.. Heheh.. Yet again.. It may be cos I'm still new and excited.. Lol.. Been dubbed the human alarm clock.. Hahaha.. Go around in the morning to wake people up.. (Only those who request to be woken up..) Haha.. It was an experience.. Of some sorts. Heheh.. Some phone calls.. Some a straight bang on their door. Hahahahaha.. Wonder how long can I keep this up..

Yup Yup.. School has started!! YIPEE!!! Heheh.. Ya.. some of you think i'm crazy.. but it's so EXCITING!! haha.. I've been for lectures for 2 days now. And I found out a couple of really interesting stuff!! The first week of school only has lectures. No tutorials at all. Most of them start in week 2 and some on week3! Besides that, in the first week of school students can actually choose to sit in each lecture and see if they like it or not. If not, there's this system which allows us to just change the to another leture with a different lecturer or totally drop the subject all together!~~ Though it's really tiring, we have to arrange our time tables all by ourselves and it's a plus point cos the time table is really what you want so you can't complain! hahahahaha.. The dropping of subjects go on till aug. 2 weeks for you to decide whether you wanna take the module or not. Haha.. Think this is cool..

Yeah.. Will be going out for a movie tonight! $5 tickets here i come! Hahahaha.. By the way, each student gets a student handbook and there are vouchers inside!! Buy one get one free.. hmm.. loads of good stuff.. haha.. Anyway gotta go for dinner now.. Later!!!

School's Starting!

It's the weekend and MONDAY is DRAWING NEAR!! It means the start of my school term.. kinda looking forward to it.. Haha..

Yesterday I went shopping again but finally wrapped up! My room's done up pretty nicely and am making myself at home already. Heheh.. i tried to do my laundry yesterday.. For a person who has never done it berfore, i think i faired well.. Hahahaha.. But come to think of it, I DO KNOW how to wash clothes alright.. I know how to hand wash them and it just so happen that I do not know how to use the washing machine and dryer.. Anyway, I had loads to wash yesterday as I've been here for almost a week now plus the new quilt covers that I got.. So I placed them all nicely into the laundry basket which I bought 4 days back and placed my pack of washing powder on top of the heap. AND GUESS WHAT... While I was on the way down to the laundry room which is 4 doors down the corridor, one of the handles BROKE OFF ON ONE SIDE!! So much for my first laundry huh.. Oh well.. That's stocking up too much for ya.. Haha..

Today I went up to north Sydney for dinner. It was at this restaurant called Ribs & Rumps Grilled & Seafood I think.. It was pretty cool and expensive.. But at the same time, delicious and filling.. Haha.. Didn't think that I could eat that much for a meal.. Haha.. But I did. Had steak and loads of mushrooms and potato.. WOOHOO!! Think I can just live off mushrooms and potatoes.. Haha.. And when I thought that I'm filled to the brim, I just couldn't resist getting ice cream along the way back.. Think I better watch out now.. As some of you have already warned me..

Tomorrow my dad's going to be heading back home.. Will be all by myself then.. The college is beginning to liven up as the residents are coming back now. Haha.. College orientation starts next week so yeah.. Gonna be meeting more and more people.. Am getting to know some of the residents who are already back better now. AND WE'RE ON FOR MOVIE NEXT TUES!! Yeah.. the only day when the tickets are $5! Haha.. Maybe we'll catch 2 instead of 1.. Hahaha.. Might as well take the chance right? Heheh.. Yup.. Some movies are ahead of Singapore I think. Only gonna have lectures and no tutorials for the first week.. So.. I'm going!!

FINALLY!! I GOT TO THE READ THE CARDS YOU GUYS WROTE ME!! Hur hur hur.. was reading it up in the middle of the night while my dad was asleep.. (shh.. it's a secret..) Haha..

Stella's stickman family of E362 is so cute.. haha.. reminds me of the shirt you guys gave me.. eh.. not meant to be an insult but really wouldn't know who's who without the names written.. Haha.. And shing made the cartoons a little more identifiable by adding prominent.. what should I say.. icons?? eh.. items like MNG tag and supposedly "biscuit" labelled bag so that I'll know who you're trying to draw right?? *sigh* Had a good laugh.. should have brought it over.. haha.. but it's alright!! I'll Have the stickman drawings here and the other one back in Sing!! LOL!! Think the funniest is the last of the cards.. Ya.. Some of you already know what i'm going to type about.. Though Sis JL's page is super funny, the 10 remembers are really important except for the remember to come back.. which is needless to say.. OF COURSE I'LL COME BACK!! I WOULDN'T MISS THAT!! Hahah..

I finally got a mobile phone here in aust! Had so many things to get just to prove my credibility.. Got somthing that's called the proof of age card.. Haha.. So cool.. just to prove that I'm above 18.. and of course address verification and etc etc.. but all went well and I GOT IT!! Thank God cos some people actually take a whole week through the process.. some take months.. but mine took a day.. Haha.. So yeah.. Am thankful! And of course gotta thank my dad for it.. My studies here really cost a bomb.. Save save save.. Heheh..

Yup.. College orientation's gonna start next week.. Will be meeting more new people.. Feel that's it's gonna be quite overwhelming.. Haha.. But gonna be relying on them a bit to make the best of life here.. Heheh.. With help to get around and stuff.. School starts next week.. For now.. Gonna rest while I still can.. heheh..

Yup.. AM safe and sound in Sydney.. Heheh.. Took a while to get the connections up but it is alright now.. Didn't get to post anything up before I leave but think it's pretty much ok..

Anyway, would like to thank the people who turned up at the airport.. It's really early in the morning.. About 7.. But you all still came!! Garvin came too! It was a real surprise cos I thought that he already booked in.. We talked on the phone on the previous night.. Was really reluctant to hang up.. Haha.. But still had to.. And was really glad that I could see him before I leave.. There were also many of my family members.. think the whole lot of them cried.. I refused to look back.. Cos I know that if I do, my tap wouldn't stop running too.. Sis Su TIng, Shi Ying and CAI JUN was there too.. Really wanna thank them for coming.. Especially CAI JUN who came ALL THE WAY down from JURONG EARLY in the MORNING.. (Had to do that.. cos bala said have to mention and give her credits.. Haha..) Yeah.. But seriously was thankful and touched.. =)

I've settled in my college (hostel) now.. It's a jewish college.. so I get to have the pass over feast and eat unleaven bread.. Haha.. Maybe should pack some back for you guys.. but by the time I get back.. Hmmm.. we'll see ya.. Hahahaha.. Did a few administrative stuff here and there.. like getting the studentcard and etc.. Thank goodness I have really helpful people here.. So I went around quite smoothly and without much hiccups.. The only thing left is the aust mobile though.. Loads of things I have to get like verification of address etc so that I can get on a plan.. But I've got an international card now to call home! =)

The internet's really cool. Haha.. I don't get charged for downloads through the university websites.. But i do get charged for downloads from external sites like yahoo and hotmail.. So if you got any huge files that you wanna send me, please send it to z3167827@student.unsw.edu.au!! helps me save some downloading costs.. hahaha.. but other than that.. normal mails are fine.. Hee hee..

Yeah!! It's FRIDAY again!! It's the weekend!! Means I can go meet peolple and go kai kai!! Muahahahaha!! Haven't been online for a while now.. Heheh.. Haven't been doing much but pack pack pack and pack.. Hahahaha.. So fast.. 3 days left.. Heheh.. Am feeling kinda sad though am excited.. Gonna be leaving so many things behind and start from scratch in aust..

I've double checked my luggage.. Only brought the really really really neccessary stuff.. Haha.. Could hardly zip it up! Then I realised that I didn't pack in something really important.. I didn't pack in my table lamp.. Am thinking of hand carrying it.. But it's going to look kinda funny.. Instead of the scenario where people are sent off with flowers in their hands, I'll have a lamp instead.. Maybe I should just buy one over there.. But I also wanna save money.. Hai..

Tonight I'll be going for my grandma's birthday dinner! (sorry e362..) Will be meeting up with the maternal side of the family and say my goodbyes.. Heheh.. Gonna disturb my little cousins.. Hur hur hur hur..

Yeah.. I came to the conclusion that blogger is actually quite fun.. Hahaha.. And I found out that actually the tag board is quite easy to get.. Haha.. What I did is that I went to my cousin's blog and clicked on "get a free chatterbox" that's at the bottom of the tag board and the rest is all in the instructions.. Hahahaha.. Thank goodness I took web publishing as one of my modules back in SP.. So I do know a bit of script writing.. Muahahaha.. But of course.. Am not an expert..

I have 7 more days to go!! Did more last minute shopping today.. Had a dental appointment cos seeing a dentist over in aust is much more expensive.. (so I heard..) Got some basic medicine today.. (cos it's hard to find a doctor there..) and had more local food!! Hahaha.. there is a food fest at taka.. almost stuffed myself.. LOL.. And managed to watch FANTASTIC FOUR!! Heheheheh.. think it's much better than War of the Worlds.. Haha.. Watched it with my bro.. cute brother.. but heartless.. was supposed to be his treat.. but.. HAI......

I managed to pack most of my stuff today.. but it seems that each time I pack, there's more that's suppose to be in and which I totally forgot.. I packed a whole file of stationaries (and forgot to pack in my pencil case).. remembered my HP (but forgot totally about the charger)... HOW AM I EVER GOING TO FINISH PACKING!!! Filled the luggage to the brim I did.. Had to sit on it to zip it up.. BUT THERE'S MORE!! Am not a shopper.. and never a packer.. Thank God for my mum.. Hahahaha..

My bro and I managed teach my mum some more things about msn messenger today.. We managed to get her to install it in the office.. Heheh.. and boy... she's funny.. As some of you know.. a moving chick appears when I typed the word "see". Being new to msn, my mum asked, "How did you do that chick?" what a way to ask a question..I laughed my head off at that! She was watching as I was chatting with some friends. I typed a "muahahaha" and she asked, "what's that.. ma ma hu hu ha ha?"

Time really flies by.. It's already SUNDAY!! Heheh.. I have one more week left to pack up and get prepared to leave..

Today Suting has been promoted to EM!! Congrats!! WOOHOO!! Haha.. Err.. but your present gotta wait a bit.. haha.. it's in the making.. LOL! Left right after service today to get to my grandma's place. She cooked my fav prawn mee especially for me.. so sweet. heheh.. and it was super delicious!! No other prawn mee can compare to it! (so far..)

I had dinner with Char, Pam, ZM, Alvin and (of course) Garvin last night at Marche.. Was thinking of asking Ying along too but thought that she wouldn't be free.. Haha.. But it worked out well cos SHE HAPPENED TO BE THERE!! Haha.. It IS a small world.. Anyways, the girls (Char & Pam I mean) gave me a big and cute moo moo.. (Wanted to post up the pics but am still working my way to become a little more expert with blog.. Somtimes it makes me feel like a computer idiot and am outdated... So if you wanna, I have some posted up on my friendster though.. Hmmm.. Ok.. Bad news.. the file's too BIG FROM MY CAM!! -_-" you guys gotta make do till I can post them up here then.. Hahaha..) As much as I would like to take the girls strong advice and bring the big fat cow over to Sydney with me, it is really quite impossible now considering the weight of my luggage.. Yes.. I really did weigh it on my aunt's weighing machine and it's 5kg overweight.. Am sure that I packed only what is neccessary... (I think..)

Yeah!! It's already FRI (ok.. was fri..) and I had cell group! Wanted to go for overnight pm.. But couldn't.. Oh well.. It was my last meeting with E362 cos next fri is my grandma's birthday cum my farewell with maternal side of the family.. yeah..

Anyways, I was taking a cab home with mervyn (as usual..). Chatted with Shing along the way too cos was gonna drop her off somewhere closer to her home. So it was a pretty fast journey and I reached for my wallet to pass Mer some money as he was always the last to get off.. After passing him the cash, I double checked my wallet to see how much I've left for sat.. And I've got... MORE THAN WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE LEFT!! And I thought to myself.. GOOD...

SO.. I finally reached home and as I stepped outta the cab, guess what.. I remembered where the EXTRA money came from.. It was from Shing so that I could get comething for Sis Suting tmr.. SIGH.. And I thought money multiplied in my wallet.. So dumb..

Ok.. I know it's late.. And was really contemplating if i should start a blog of my own.. haha.. Oh well.. Let me think of what I wanna start with.. Alright.. Let's start with the story of an egg that's gonna become pretty famous...

Late last night... At about 1am thurs night aka fri morning, my stomache was growling real bad.. so i decided to get some food.. I went downstairs to my kitchen in search for FOOD.. The funny thing was.. I didn't want just any food.. but.. something WARM and NICE. That's right.. some of you already got it!! So I decided to cook MAGGIE MEE!!! (after much contemplation too.. Cos it's so much work..) Muahahahaha..

OK.. Realising that there was a little bit of winter melon soup left over.. (I think it's winter melon...) I decided to take that yummy soup (which I had for dinner) and let it fulfill it's purpose.. Heheh.. I reboiled the soup alright.. (in the original soup pot) then I transferred it (with the nice soft winter melons) into a smaller pot and placed it over the fire. I emptied the soup pot mind you.. cos there's really very little soup left. Thinking of using that soup as my maggie mee soup, I happily quickened up my pace so that I could fill my stomache.. I put in the mee, the seasoning, a bit of pepper.. and of course.. the EGG crossed my mind.. Heheh.. THE EGG always being the last ingredient, I simply reached for it in the fridge and cracked it against the pot.

On the first knock, the shell cracked a little.. I SHOULDN'T HAVE FORCED MY WAY WITH IT.. But I did.. (which was super unfortunate) over my ALMOST READY, SMELLING SUPER DELICIOUS MAGGIE MEE. So, it *splat* all over the place, onto the mee and onto my pjs.. Think it's bad enough?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... It HAD to be a ROTTEN EGG! It HAD to be GREEN and FOUL SMELLING! Alright.. There goes my mee.. and my hungry stomache.. Eventually, being already quite lazy in the night, I had to clear up the mess in the kitchen.. (the stove, cupboard and all..) and went back up to my small cosy little room. Had to take a shower... (cos it smelled real bad..) and wash my pjs and soak them.. So much for supper.. A mere 15 mins became 45.. I slept well that night..
